That is merely HeIsHere's opinion. I come into threads on these subjects to see what is being said. I honestly don't see what Hollywood actresses have to do with the subject. No one really knows their lives. But the OP has a right to post it if they wish. But I have a right to question the post. I don't know the OP I simply pointed out that none of us were in the place to give any real advice. We are not professionals and if someone is in an abusive situation the best thing is to go seek help, as much as wish to help, that's the best advice. That got a boring reaction from the OP, when I asked why there was no answer. I don't know the OP and I would have no reason to try and sabotage their thread.
Thats true and I did get raped and did seek someone to talk to, and Branch told me to seek professionals. At the time it upset me, but I chose to respect what she made the thread for, which was to help bring awareness of domestic abuse. I guess it was less so for personal help, or at least I believe that's what she told me. You can check the history, it was in this thread.

I dont believe anyone here is trying to sabotage the discussion, but Eli was in fact trying to bring up what he deemed as domestic abuse on her part, You yourself had a good point relating to the topic as well. I think we all have somewhat related topics that go at hand.

It did show me that Branch wasnt an account I can look at anymore however, which makes me sad. I understand shes old, perhaps this was all too much for her to handle. I still believe we all had good intentions and did valuable things. Hopefully we can all pray for her, that she may consider what we said kindly and come back stronger:)

I'm so sorry that happened. I think sometimes people talk online first. It may make it easier to talk to someone face to face. But I always want to make sure that people get the help they need as soon as they can. The longer time passes, the harder it is to open up about trauma. We've also talked in several threads about abuse, and different kinds of abuse and whether God expects you to stay with an abuser. My answer to that is a flat out no, he doesn't. But in our conversations I don't want people to think our advice and opinions should be used instead of professionals, or at least a pastor. Someone who you can go to if you are really in danger or need help. And that was the only point I was trying to make. I pray you find healing and I'm glad you have someone you can trust to talk to.

Its always a good idea to talk to a pastor that you trust, ideally one that is founded on scripture. I think we can all be abusive at times, so im very slow to recommend leaving, and I myself am slow to give up. But there are definitely outlined cases where leaving is the best option, like consistent unrepentance through verbal abuse and screaming, or adultery, or physical abuse.

I think your advice is great and helpful for all people! But i would also like to highlight that some people dont want to talk to their family/freinds/pastor for reasons. Like im not 100% sure we would still be going to church if I opened up about certain things, though it seems my climate is getting much better and maybe this has changed. I also find it hard to talk to family or freinds because they know the person who has abusive qualities, and i wouldnt want to have them condemned. Especially since they do show somewhat consistent repentance in certain areas. My family are not forgiving most of the time. As for friends, we share freinds, and my only independent freind would hate the person showing abusive qualities. I understand where you were coming from though:)
You have great advice. People should most definitely get professional opinions especially when making decisions that could impact their futures in a huge way.

This is a letter my mom wrote to you all.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, I write this letter to testify of the Lord’s mercy and power shown through His mighty works. A miracle was performed here by the Lord Himself, who saved the life of a mother and her baby. I will forever praise the Lord Jesus Christ for His goodness and mercy toward Venessa and her child.

I never came on this site for idle talk. I was compelled by the Spirit of God after hearing about some who were speaking blasphemous things against our Father God and His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
After weeks of witnessing those words, I was moved by the Holy Spirit to speak truth and to rebuke two men who were leading others astray.
Also at first, there seemed to be no fault in a man called Eli1. But in time, it became clear that he had supported something that was not of God. When I stood up for righteousness, others turned against me, and even agreed with hurtful words spoken by others. I believe the enemy sowed confusion after he returned home that evening. Yet the Lord’s will was done nevertheless, for Jesus Christ still brought peace and help to the women and children who cried out to Him. Glory be to the Lord of Hosts, for all deliverance belongs to Him.
I am a missionary—a voice crying in the wilderness, “Prepare ye the way of the Lord!” I do not rebuke by my own understanding but by the direction of the Holy Spirit and through the letters sent for prayer. My heart’s desire is that all people repent and come to faith in Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
My heart is heavy for those who excuse sin and call evil good, yet I know the Lord is righteous. His justice will not sleep forever. Soon He will crush Satan under His feet, and every wicked spirit shall be cast down. The day is coming when Jesus Christ will return in glory, and all who believe shall be gathered to Him in everlasting peace.
As John the Baptist cried out to prepare the way, so I cry today: repent and turn to the Lord, for His kingdom is near. As written in Revelation, I look forward to the holy city—the new Jerusalem—coming down from God out of heaven. The Lord shall wipe away every tear, and there shall be no more death, sorrow, or pain. The former things will pass away, and we shall dwell forever in the presence of the Lamb.
Amen, and amen. All glory to Jesus Christ, who reigns forevermore.
Yours in His service.

Branch

I've been here a good long time. I've seen people come and go. I think people get a little too involved in these forums. This is simply a discussion site, I've said this all the years I've been here. Some people I agree with, some I don't and sometimes I don't agree with a person on one thing, but find I agree with another. This is a place where we come and we discuss. No one has any special message, God isn't calling us to speak in a forum, this isn't a ministry. When people think it is, that's where the problems begin. It's a discussion site and that's all it is.

Certain members here have met in person and they know each other. Even that doesn't mean you've gotten to know a person. But for the most of us, we haven't met and won't till we reach heaven. Here is no different than in real life. We meet people that rub us the wrong way. I have PMed people to work out issues and misunderstandings. If that can't be done the best thing is to put the person on ignore and go about your life. Last time, this is a discussion forum. It can get heated. But if you can handle disagreements, this is about the last place you need to come.

I understand what you're saying. And sometimes the "right" answer isn't obvious. I've talked before about my sister and how I believe she has been mentally abused in her relationship. She hasn't chosen to leave either. So I don't force my opinion on her. We have talked about ways for her to leave if she chooses to. We have talked about her safety and that before she makes any serious moves I need to be there. She has told me many, many things through her 25 yr marriage, and I listen. I give advice I think is right, I have told her to get help and she has a counselor. I tell her I'm behind her whatever decision she makes. Then I pray over her. And it's been this way her entire marriage. All I can do is pray and be there when she needs me. She knows that. Our parents, our family, her friends except one, do not know what she has been/is going through. Until she makes her decision, I wait and I pray God's protection over her life until she feels released to go. It pains me to see her go through it, but I'm not God and I can't take the decision out of her hands, as much as I would dearly like to. She would just go back to the situation if I forced her against her will. Till then I pray God will open her eyes and help her understand she doesn't deserve to be treated this way. I hope you find the answer that is best for you and that you find peace in your decision. Blessings.

He disagreed with a thank you? Shows the abundance of the heart?
He disagreed with everything everyone said im guessing, he liked very few of what I said, and disliked almost everything in a sense, or rather left a "😑"face.

He didn't agree with us for good reason, he thought we were being bullies, especially Eli. I do not think we were being bullies, but considering how HeisHere wanted to stand up for Branch, which is not a bad thing considering what he thought about what we were doing/saying. His heart was in a good place considering what he thought and what he understood.

Well you got the bully part right and now Daisy has left too.
Be careful you trust.

The only thing disagreeable is our crap grammar 😢😢

But seriously, if you are talking about HeisHere,

I actually think he was well worded and able to reason. We didnt agree but he had good reasons for what he thought and supported and was very respectful. I find him quite agreeable over all.

You leave "X" marks on the things you disagree with as well, ive gotten quite a few from you my friend. And im not offended, because this is a public fourm. As long as we're respectful we can disagree with one another and voice that in whatever way possible.

I definitely don't trust many, especially those online. I do like Eli though, for the most part. We've shared some laughs here and he seems well reasoned most of the time. I dont always agree with the way he voices his disagreements, but to each his own.

I also like you and Daisy, you seem kind and well reasoned as well.

Branch I liked too she was doing much good, though I do feel like Eli had some important points I would have liked her to actually address instead of blame shifting, especially since this was about domestic abuse. But I understand that she didn't feel the need to, and I feel bad that she felt bullied out of here.

I dont trust any of you guys farther than I would anything else online, but I do love you all as family, and like you as people.

As for Daisy, did she leave this thread or the site completely?

She is now a guest, her mom was given a soft ban as in "user profile no longer available."
Seems to me all she wanted to do was raise awareness about a horrible reality in our world.

Glad to you do not trust many, as a relatively new believer that is very important.
Just because people speak about Christ Jesus does not mean they are in Him and He is in them.
I wish all good things as you grow in Christ, from what I have read you have had some hard trials in life.

Christ Jesus is the only one you can trust fully, not pretenders and posers... stay clear of them, you will come across many of them in this world.

I didn't know Branch, as far as I know we hadn't communicated before. I made the comment that none of us here were experts and that was it. Eli was speaking of prior knowledge or relationship with Branch and I have no dog in that fight. HeIsHere will faithfully dislike anything I post. If I said the sky was HisH would mark it red. But that's between us. Down through the years I've been here, unless someone was a troll, if I have a disagreement I try to PM the person and resolve it. But I can only make peace as much as is within me

I appreciate all of this, thank you ❤️ I already know of some posers, I went to a Church that couldn't get the gosple right for the life of them...literally. it broke my heart. I tried to tell them and warn them as best as I could and I was demonized.

I think some people are mislead, and I believe some are straight evil. Like Benni Hinn, or let's say Mark Discol. Its unfortunate to see such corruption within the body.

I most definitely will continue to test people. Those mislead ill talk with, those corrupt I avoid completely.
