Don’t expose your soul to the pressures of the sin and its wage (Rom 6:23):
• “If you do well, shall you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin crouches at the door; and its desire is for you, and you shall rule over it.” (Gen 4:7).
• “Dearly beloved, I exhort you as temporary residents and pilgrims to abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,” (1Pe 2:11).
As Jeremiah said:
• “Why should any living person complain when punished for his sins?” (Lam 3:39).
So, when we undergo some tribulation, let’s ask: this is coming about in virtue of my sin or for the glory of the Creator? If it is for His glory, give thanks to Him:
• “Blessed are they who have been persecuted for righteousness sake! For theirs is the kingdom of Heaven. Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute you, and shall say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.” (Mat 5:10-12).
• “And who is the one who will harm you if you become imitators of the good? But if you also suffer for righteousness' sake, you are blessed. And do not fear their fear, nor be troubled,” (1Pe 3:13,14).
• “Beloved, do not be astonished at the fiery trial which is to try you, as though a strange thing happened to you, but rejoice according as you are partakers of Christ's suffering, so that when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.” (1Pe 4:12,13).
• “Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls in well-doing, as to a faithful Creator.” (1Pe 4:19)
However, if your predicaments are aftermaths of the choices that you did without Christ, repent and convert now. After all:
• “Evil pursues sinners, but to the righteous good shall be repaid.” (Pv 13:21).
• “But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Jehovah. And *be sure your sin will find you out*.” (Num 32:23).
• “The wicked has many sorrows, but mercy embraces him who trusts in Jehovah. Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, you righteous; and shout for joy, all you upright in heart.” (Psa 32:10,11).
• “Say to the righteous that it is well; for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe to the wicked! For the evil doing of his hand will be done to him.” (Isa 3:10,11).
So, have a good day do not letting an evil speaker be established in the earth, inasmuch as the evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him (Psa 140:11) and, of course, many of those who were defiled with all their turpitude (see Heb 12:15).
