No really in one of the videos he says that he's going to tax the Chinese,Muslim ect. owned companies in the US until they sell out and leave. Do you disagree with his approach?

I'd have to see what he said and the context. That doesn't sound like something he'd say.

Now we're getting somewhere...you admitted to not liking him. Now perhaps you will come around to how unreasonable some of your positions are. And you made another admission. It isn't because you don't believe he is fit to be president. So it's personal. That's what I have been saying. But everyone but you knew this already.
This post clearly shows you didn't read what I wrong. It's pointless to discuss my position with you as you'll take the opposite meaning of my message and then claim you already knew this about me and how unreasonable I am.

When people have to resort to making the discussion personal instead of a substantive response, it means they are ruled by their emotions. Moving forward, if you continue to pretend like you know me or my heart and/or ignore the points I make in favor of letting out your emotions, I will not respond to it... I do look forward to you engaging on points only though. Hopefully you're capable of that.

Since there is no such word what exactly did you want to say? And since you gave me a thumbs down, that tells us everything about you. You wanted people to discuss Trump's platform but you are actually scared of it.

Read post #157. I did a response to it, and then expanded on my response.
I saw the one response, and that's the one I questioned. There was another that explained this.

Someone who doesn't have a beef with Trump wouldn't have started such a thread. Further, even after people here have given you very understandable and reasonable explanations, you refused them. Still further, considering the state of affairs in this nation, it would be more reasonable to do everything to build Trump up, or at least focus on the real problem.
None of this resonates with you. Hence, TDS.
Of course I have beef with some of the things Trump says. This has nothing to do with liking or disliking someone personally. I loved my grandfather very much. However, I remember my grandfather telling me when I was about 14, "Son, I don't care who you bring home as long as it's not another man or a Black woman." You're fixated on my supposed dislike for Trump instead of my reasonable objections to what he says and how he says it. The crazy part is even you admitted he doesn't word things well sometimes... Yet I'm being unreasonable.

You believe it's "reasonable to do everything to build Trump up", and I have absolutely given him credit when it was due. I even stated, multiple times, I think he was the greatest president in my lifetime (not that the standard was really high though). I've defended him when people twisted what he said by taking it out of context. I am simply OBJECTIVE and try to be fair in my critique of events and politicians and this infuriates you for some reason.

Back in April, Trump says he wants to tax Chinese imports. That's about as close to what this provocateur Squiggy said, that you can find.

Couldn't find ANYTHING about taxing muslims.

Squiggy simply lied and made it up.

Keep reading the posts. I gave 3 reasons why your posts are unreasonable.

And it's not personal. I'm doing the same thing to you that you have done for Trump...I'm assigning motive to your words and actions. You don't seem to think that is a pleasant experience. This surprises me as it is your practice.

It's not that it's an UNPLEASANT experience, it's that we are discussing Trump and what he said. You're wanting to make it about your feelings/what you think I feel about him. It's not "assigning motive" when I object to his definition of a "Black job". Perhaps you could argue I "assigned motive" when I gave my theory as to why he (including the entire right and left) refuse to target people who hire illegals. You got emotional and demanded proof of my claim that there are a multitude of reports saying Trump utilized undocumented workers. I then provided you a report, you either conceded to it's validity or didn't really care about the proof to begin with because as you admitted, you want to make this personal about me. I appreciate you finally being honest with your motives though.

I think you can't see the big picture. This nation is in big trouble. I would have preferred a different candidate, but you have to play with the guys you have. Tearing down Trump gives aid and comfort to the enemy. Your view is myopic and shortsighted.

It has nothing to do with feelings. I can view the subject as dispassionately as you. We are 3 months away from either restoring or destroying our democracy. You are working against restoration. That's the objection I have to what you are doing.
Assigning motives to your words and actions was just an attempt to let you experience what you were doing to others, and to, perhaps, let you see what was in your own heart.

I do see the big picture and completely agree. In 2016 and 2020, I never considered voting for the lesser evil. Because I'm worried with where we are at, I'm actually debating myself, everyday, on potentially voting for the lesser evil this time around.

Kamala being installed as the nominee without a single vote being cast just pushes me even further to vote for the lesser evil.

This is all superficial. Go and read his 2016 platform and now his 2024 platform. And then go and see Kamala's ZERO platform. She does not need one with those millions of illegals ready, willing, and able to commit voter fraud.
