Well, hopefully you be right about abortion, but yet, Roe versus Wade is 45 years old, and that’s almost five decades without nothing being done.
If the Supreme court overturns it, it doesn't necessarily end the practice. It goes to the states to then legislate for or against it. Being in Illinois, I forsee it continuing here even after a favorable ruling. Moreso in the southern states will it get the ax.

I guess my question is what type of solution are you looking for to that particular problem? I don't quite see it that way and I think your example is a little bit of an oversimplification. That being said I still would like to know what your opinion or idea is for fixing that problem?
Honestly, my position is: We were told thousands of years ago where the world would end up. It is extremely naive of us to think it will get there being led by a series of righteous people. Democrat or republican, they are just two different roads that end up in the same place. So instead of arguing about which road we take to Armageddon, we should be asking ourselves if we really want to be part of that process by continuing to vote for more of the same thing.

That sounds good and all, but how?
Vote third party. No you will not elect a third party candidate, nor will the major parties get the message, but you'l be refusing to take part in the march to destruction.

but I cannot wrap my head around why ordinary, hard working people are voting for the Republican Party.
Because the liberals have dumbed them down and the republicans are taking advantage of that to sell lies.

We have a conservative Supreme court for the first time in a couple of decades with the chance of adding one or two more before the end of Trump's administration. At this point, we are only waiting for an abortion case to be challenged to the court, and I believe there is one coming even now.

Also, if you are pro-Israel, Trump is doing a great thing by moving the embassy to Jerusalem.

Hopefully he'll be tossing the U.N. out of the country soon, and hoping that he'll be successful stemming the tide of illegal immigration and the so-called anchor babies.
For sure, Trump has some good ideas, and some losers, just like any President. BUT IF YOU THINK HE'S DOING ANY OF THIS FOR THE WORKING MAN YOU ARE DECEIVED. Trump only works for the 1%. His tax plan and health care ideas clearly showed that.

Sounds like you're encouraging republicans to split their votes on 3rd party candidates so the democrats can win more seats.

I cannot stand either or I do not trust either party, but for sure I will vote Republican just to vote against the anti-christian, anti-biblical stances of the left....primarily abortion, gay rights, transgender crap, socialism, anti-Christian laws etc...

As far as men who start companies and getting rich etc.....no problem with that at all.....

Sigh.

I'm voting against abortion, men in women's bathrooms, forced compliance to the personal delusions of the morally degenerate, perpetuation of the victim mentality, toxic femanism, demasculinization of boys, attacking those with opposing ideas, the marginalization of the freedom of religion, the idea that you have a right to what someone else worked for, and many many more cultural ideas that are being pushed by the certain party.
That's called cultural marxism. All of its ideologies are against Sovereign God. That's why some of have heated debates, defending all truth against all attack by dumbed down theology and its ilk.

Some faint when they see this. :)

Liberals have dumbed down the population. Republicans are taking advantage of stupid people.

That's not going to stop until we oust BOTH sides.
There is a bumper crop of idiots in the US planted by the leftists, and the Universities and media water them.

I'd rather try to make a difference.

Then you're a cultural marxist or what others call a leftist. God isn't against men having money, he's against money having men.

Democrats - "i'm not going to pitch in for a pizza but I demand you give me some!"

Republicans - "I'm going to get 9 other people to pitch in on a pizza, but I'm taking all but one slice and leaving only that one for the other 9 to split. Until the next tax change, when I'll get ALL of the pizza and the other 9 get nothing but the satisfaction of helping to make me rich!"

Neither position is right, and neither position deserves our support!

Aaaaand that mindset is exactly why nothing will ever change. And a sign that you are not listening either. To me OR the state of the world.

No, I'm listening which is why I know that your ideology is that of cultural marxism. You're already infected and don't even know it.

Good luck....when one bases his stance on make believe, imaginary "realisms" you will never change their mind........he has been on this socialist anti-money rant for some time now.....even though a man far wiser than HE stated clearly that it is of God's hand that we enjoy the fruits of our labor.......but hey....religionists know way more than the men actually inspired by God....

"A lesser evil is still evil"

"Silence in the face of evil is itself evil"

There I've done my part and broken the silence.

No go vote for the lesser evil, like you were going to anyway.
