Or What Will Happen Tomorrow,


And as well, we don't worry about the past because
we have but one life to live on this planet. We cannot
change the past, not even an echo in a canyon lasts
forever. First we admit to ourselves we did wrong and
what we did that was wrong. We bring it to God and
repent as He forgives our iniquities and takes that load
off our shoulders for once and for all. It is important to
accept that forgives though cuz that means that we are
again reconciled again with God. If we don't accept His
forgiveness means that we don't trust God. Of course
our mind wants to always lead us back to the bad things
we've done and we need to acknowledge that evil is
always knocking at our door. We don't let it it, with the
grace of God, we send those temptations away. They
are just trying to weaken us. We need to remain strong
and as Jesus did, we block their effort to overtake the
joy we live in the Lord. Seek first the kingdom of God and
all the rest will be given unto you.
 
Amen...

it is also such a blessing to be able to make 'amends' for
past mistakes to others in the 'today'...
 
You'd think we're ppl who lack foresight or preparation for tomorrow, but hubby and i, different as we are, both do not really have that much time to worry abt what to wear=). Unless there be an impt event, clothing is often what's been washed, folded or put away previously.

Recently, i came to read someone say For all ppl talk abt clothes, the Bible does not really say that much on clothing. On a chapter on Discipline of Propriety, Hughes says Jesus taught on not worrying abt our clothes as pagans do, asking What shall we wear? When we fret over clothes, "It usually has nothing to do with a basic need and everything to do with impressions we wish to create or the way we hope to feel abt ourselves." Propriety is an old-fashioned word that means "characterized by appropriateness or suitability." Effect controls our choices if we should dress for men or women, for power, sophistication, etc.? But the Gospel answer is "None of the above" and to dress to please God. Put on the new self, the full armor of God, and clothe yourselves with strength. (Disciplines of a Godly Woman)
