Forum where users can post threads describing dreams they have had/are having... i think it would be interesting.

I don't like the idea at all. There are far too many wannabe-prophets as is. I don't think we need to encourage them.

Hmm, latest dream was pretty scary actually.

I had a dream I was in this evil house; my aunt and I were sitting at the dinner table and I was thinking aloud about something I studied at church, then she jumped up and covered my mouth and said,

" shoosh or they'll come!"

Next thing I'm on my back being held down; the whole time I was shouting that they couldn't do anything to me because I was protected by God and all that clicheness.

I've noticed that whenever I ask God to be in my dreams with me, they always are and always protect me :)

I don't like it either, not only with what Tintin said, but also people seem to be placing too much emphasis and importance on dreams here. And if it were just about talking about dreams in general, well, it seems like there could be more useful topics to base a forum off of, as just sharing dreams isn't really a benefit to anyone.

I don't remember my dreams much. My wife has some really strange ones. They would be great to share.

i think a dream forum would be great! we put our dreams here and God can use the forum to help us through each other!

Too much emphasis on dreams? What about Joseph's story? And regarless of the fact that there are many wannabe prophets, if many people are having dreams of the same context, it is worth knowing about at the very least.

Maybe so, but an entire forum dedicated to them? No. Of course there are times that dreams are of God and sometimes even for the public but more often than not they're for personal conviction or encouragement, or just the result of a bad curry the previous night. I think some people here put far too much stock into people's dreams. Some people may be genuine but we need to be more discerning.

I honestly don't believe that they require a whole forum dedicated to them either. If you feel led to post them, you should be able to do it in one of the forums already provided. I know it's a good thing to have a place to keep similar threads organized, but I wouldn't think there's enough demand for it. That's just me though, for whatever it's worth.

I didn't say God doesn't use dreams, i said people are putting too much emphasis on dreams they have. People here are quick to assume dreams are from God, yet they can never explain it, and neither can anyone else. I find it amazing how many dreams God gives people on this site, without providing any sort of explanation.
And yes, the 'wanna be prophets' does matter because these people can misguide and mislead others, sending them down a path God did not intend. I'd say that's pretty dangerous and the risk outweighs the small chance they may actually get anything out of it.
