I've been thinking how I would like to be a fit 50 year old and so I have two
years to be that. How I should try to take care of myself more also circumstances
permitting, how I should try to enjoy life more and find pleasure in some of the
things I use to do.

Anyway I had a dream last night in which I returned to work after the Christmas break.
Only is wasn't my usual work building, it seemed to be set in a school.

Some things were the same, my desk was in the same position within the bank of desks.
The work I left on it was still there with the same complexity and problems. My managers
were still the same. The strip light above my desk was still flashing on and off so I had
to turn it off!

Some things were different and new. I went to the bathroom but unbeknown to me, it
had been changed to a man's locker room. I walked in and quickly realised when I saw
my male colleagues. They were all fully dressed I would add, they laughed and told me
where the ladies was. Plus on my desk was a portable slightly bigger than A4 size screen.
I didn't know what this was for, someone explained I could use it as a second monitor and
showed me how to use it.

Some old things had returned, a man who retired several years ago had come back to
work (this would never happen in real life I would add). I knew who he was but some of
the more recent staff didn't. My desk and team had been moved back to the first floor (in real
life we moved from there to the second floor last year due to space issues).

Everything about the dream seemed happy, content, people were friendly etc. (In real life
everyone is stressed and very busy at work!).

Anyway I woke up and realise that some things were the same in the dream, some were new or
different and some were about the past. It got me thinking, how that can sum up each new
year for all of us as we all move forward into the year.

But the feel of the dream was different, it was happy, chilled, relaxed. Not stressful.

I suppose the challange is how to deal with current situations, revisited issues old hobbies,
interests, challenges and adapt to new things, with joy and grace without worry. At least this
is what I thought about upon waking up.

The school setting was important, I've had dreams about schools before and this usually
indicates something to learn.

Not sure if this makes any sense. You all think I'm nuts now. :o

Of course, I think you're nuts. But why would that mean what you say doesn't make sense? You're nuts because you can come up with all that good stuff out of a dream.

My dreams would start with me going to the men's bathroom, and then I'd spend the rest of the dream trying to find the ladies room. All I get out of my dreams is I have to go to the bathroom. (My form of nuts.) lol

(A4? About the size of a piece of looseleaf notebook page? I've seen the reference when cropping or enlarging some of my photos, but we do it in inches, so I don't remember what size it was.)

For years I had a recurring dream about school. I could not find my next class (forgot which one) and looked in doors to see if I recognized anything or anyone. Or else I could not remember my locker combination.

I guess I was seeking something - the dream stopped eventually. Maybe I found it or else it wasn't important anymore.

A4 is like a large sheet of writing paper, writing pad.

Im glad I'm not the only nut! :D

Ive had a couple of dreams about schools which have either come true or were very meaningful
relative to specific situations. There was something to learn in each one, but it wasn't always
apparent immediately. :)

I had a dream the other night that I was above the earth and I felt like i was with my mum though I didn't see her. Then suddenly I saw thousands of nuclear missiles go up and drop back onto the earth exploding and then all the stars of the sky fell to earth. I remember feeling and thinking this is the end, it really is like a twinkling of an eye and that it looked exactly like in my dreams (because I've dreamt of the stars falling to earth a few times before)

Then I found myself amongst a panel of people and there was a leader and it was like we were getting ready to judge and I felt like i shouldn't be there because really, who am I to judge?

That's it, most vivid dream I've had in a little while that's caught my attention.
