hey honestly many of these people may not even have the right to call themselves Christians. If you don't see that so many are trying to turn people from the faith, you don't yet understand what Christ is really telling us. True Christians are headed toward paradise and many do not want to see that happen it seems.

You sound like my daughter. What you have shared is worth sharing. Your heart is right, time is running out. It always has been. The issues being discussed are important.

Emotionally I get worn out regarding the amount of distortions and twisting a simple message can happen in the church. But in part that is the internet and modern technology. Every type of version of faith can now be broadcast round the world.

But take heart, the Kingdom of heaven can never be shaken, love is simple and eternal, and we are saved because of the cross. As I have got older the core truths always come out. Humbleness, repentance, forgiveness, praying in secret, walking in integrity are Jesus's way. To become a servant where you are.

If the Lord returns tomorrow, Amen, if in 1000 years, Amen. But most of all share, because it is through sharing we find what the Lord is doing in each of us. So be encouraged the Lord is good.

To be honest this is not the best place to ask for this kind of advice as you have found out! Even the more basic things such as Gifts of the Holy Spirit are denied by many and you only have to spend some time reading to see how many people say they are not today and do not happen do not exist, despite all the testimony to say otherwise. There is no point in arguing over it as they will not change mind.

I know many people are having dreams and visions given by God, many are just personal and even Christians need an interpretation from someone. Pray for conformation and ask people you trust to pray for you to pray about it as well and see what comes back from that.

She reminds me of me. I was raised in an emotionally centered home. Looking back,I can see the damage.

Forums,EVERY FORUM,has the potential to wreck havoc EMOTIONALLY.

So I have had two dreams about the end times and I feel like I need to share them because these past few months have really shaken me and shown me the state Christianity is in and it is terrifying. So here goes...

Dreams are pretty random, turn to scripture instead.

I read her post without bias and I believe her to be right. You should know that Angela has a good reputation in this community and having said that has probably been walking with the Lord longer than you have been alive..So, she is much older than you, grow up and pay her some respect.

Some want to sadly place titles on others who disagree with them to state they are following man's false teaching, but do not want to admit the same in the doctrine they follow and blindly follow teachers that suit their itching ears.

We see this in all the "isms", wof movement, Catholic, and even osas.

Their is only One true doctrine of Christ, and it involves obeying His teachings, any other teaching that strays from what Jesus said is false.

I feel that if God gives one a vision or dream, the meaning will be clear to the receiver. If you have to seek an interpretation it most likely is not of God.

How do you think this made me feel? I didn't have to make myself look like an idiot but I did because I believe there is a real issue with the church and I wanted to get some feedback on my dreams that had been nagging at me for a long time. I'm not saying you owe me anything but could you honestly see Jesus reacting like this?

To quote Ebenezer Scrooge (as it is "that" time of the year):

I sometimes wonder if the bdf is a place where God reigns or the devil. Jf isn't the first to feel this many like her were run off from cc because of us who claim to be Christians. Have we still not learned that we are called to be love? It's not just in cc either I have been to many forums where Christians attack each other over doctrinal differences or simply because they don't agree. I don't think this is what Jesus had in mind when he was walking this earth, I think we need to re read the gospels because I saw Jesus teaching to be kind loving patient and understanding to turn the other cheek to show mercy and forgiveness.

Never speak harshly to an older man, but appeal to him respectfully as you would to your own father. Talk to younger men as you would to your own brothers. Treat older women as you would your mother, and treat younger women with all purity as you would your own sisters.1 Timothy 5:1-2

I didn't mean to sound harsh I was just trying to tell you that entering the Kingdom of God is worth ignoring all of the people posing as Christians because I tell you the truth what Christ is saying to us is much different than lots of people will tell you it says. Its worth it.

Something I learned about wisdom and maturity is they both have one thing in common- they both come in time. Wisdom and maturity especially as a believer isn't something that just happens and honestly it seems to produce the most fruit from trial and error from our screw ups and failings. However the truly wise know that no matter how experienced they are or how much wisdom they have gained there is always room for more learning

You are right in these points except I don't think the jumping on shows immaturity, I think shows you have flaws. Immaturity would be denying the flaws when someone shows you and refusing to not do anything about them. That being said, I believe Angela and the OP have had prior communications so it wasn't really 'off the bat'.

This is the truth! Last time round with JF, I tried to communicate in PM's to help her. She did respond, but never to listen to any possible changes that might help her, and I offered quite a few, and very Biblical.

Then she disappeared without a word. Which is her right! But don't expect to come back, play the same needy game again, and expect the people who went around with this the first time to respond with open arms.

Since the love and kindess I used the first time did not work in any way shape or form, I believe that correction was the way to respond this time. Obviously, no approach works and I wish JF well in sorting out her nightmares, dreams and visions, and her hyperemotionality. Let's face it, there is only so much we can do to help someone on the internet, no matter what approach we use or how we try.

So I will bow out of this discussion, and some of the vitrolic given by members who don't like anyone who doesn't agree with them on every single aspect of theology. You shall know the truth, and he truth will set you free, I just pray that some members on CC will find the truth, sooner, rather than later! (Not speaking of JF here!)

It's very easy for "people who are not getting what they want", when handed something even the truth, to complain "people are being rude".

"Rude" would be something like, "you're just a (so and so)" dismissing and diminishing the other person's being.

I have no intention of lying to anyone here. I have no intention to "just argue for the sake of argument". I am not making things up. My contentions stem from years of my own learning, and much of the learning was from the benefit of years of church tradition, others' learning, discussion and peer review.

We're asked what we think, and we're compassionate to take the time to respond. You don't like some of the responses you're getting, that's going to happen. Maybe consider next time you say something that you're not going to like the response, that you're not going to get handed what you "want", but some of what you "need".

When I come face to face with God someday one of two things I think will happen:

1) God's gonna be like "I didn't send you those dreams but A for effort!"

2) God's gonna be like, "Nice job! I sent you those dreams and you knew what to do with them!"

I dunno if he's gonna talk like that but you get my point.

I wont comment one way or the other about your dreams but I will encourage you to take this to God. Ask God to give you a confirmation. If they didnt come from him,he wont verify and explain them. You will most likely want to fast .
