Drought
It is so dry!
The lawns are yellow
The apple tree doesn't bare fruit and the leaves are falling.

Farmers don't have enough grass
To feed their animals.
They bring them to
the slaughterhouses.
Every thing cries out for rain!
But it doesn't come.

The forecast says rain
It gets some clouds
A thunder
Then silent
The rain passes.
Not a single drop.

I wonder...
Is this something else?

I feel like the dry soil, Lord.
I cry out to you!
I thirst for you!
For your Holy Spirit
To quench my thirst.
To make me bring forth

Good fruit.

Lord. Let it rain!
Pour out your
Living water!
Pour it out,
Quench my thirst
For You, Lord.

Bless me, Lord
With rain
So that I can bare
Good fruit.
For your Glory.

I was thinking what if we die from this heat?
Whether we die or not it is in God's hands.

It is a kind of foretelling of the coming tribulations, and it is better to be prepared for all extremes. But always remember:God is in control and he loves and listens to His children. Rejoice and stay close to Him.
