How can any person have faith-alone without works
What is really making me wonder, is how it is only possible that almost the whole civilization can be temporarily built on a few passages of Paul taken out of context, and the whole teaching of him, including the words about love to the law/commandments by his spiritual man, the whole teaching of Gospel about the commandments leading to life eternal be ignored?

We always have to have works whether Old or New Testament for we must labor for the kingdom of God and to be right with Him.

The Bible says charity, love in action, works, is greater than faith.

And faith works by love.

Works of love is greater than faith.

No love then faith is void.

John said do not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deed, works, and in truth.

Love is only valid in works.
Well said. Self-justifiers can make great speeches about having faith-alone without works, but everyone knows a hypocrite talking about having love-alone without works.

1Jo 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

It's impossible to have God without works.

Luk 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

We are not saved by works but by faith when we first confess Christ for that is all we can do.
Correct. The first work of faith that saves is confessing the Lord Jesus Christ:

Rom 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The works of faith that follow obey the Lord Jesus.

Luk 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
No man doing nothing has God nor is justified with the Lord Jesus.
For the works of the Old Testament physical laws or anything we do according to the flesh will give us salvation.
Correct again. The works of faith in Jesus Christ the righteous, are not works of our own righteousness, nor works of the law without faith toward God.

Titus{3:4}
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done,

Gal 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ,
Neither our good works without Christ, nor our works of law without faith in Jesus Christ, justify any man with God. Much less any man without any works at all...
But after we are saved we have to allow the Spirit to lead us to do works of love which love is the fulfilling of the law.

Without which works of love, no man is saved and justified with God:

Luke 10
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.

James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
James 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
James 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

It is obvious we have to have works of love by the Spirit to have faith applied to our life.
Exactly. Living faith is living by faith:

Heb 10:38
Now The just shall live by faith:

James{2:14}
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone...

Dead faith is doing nothing. And them doing no good, are doing evil:

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

They do not understand when Paul talks about works and try to carry that throughout their Christian walk after they confessed Christ.

They understand the will of God, but they don't believe His will.

Even as circumcision-alone without doing good is made uncircumcision, so also is faith-alone without works made unbelief.

Faith-alone without works does not believe nor do God's will: They are unbelieving transgressors naming Christ alone.

2Ti 2:19
Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Paul said the same thing as James but people want to argue over the 2 as if there is a contradiction.
And this is the ditch do-nothing Christians will dig to justify themselves by their faith-alone: By isolating Scripture from Scripture, they set Scripture against Scripture, rather than unify all Scripture together as one truth of God:

James preaches against having any faith-alone without works, and Paul preaches against having any works-alone without faith.

While it's possible to have works without faith in this life, it's possible for the living to have faith without works.

1 Corinthians 2:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
Correct. Even works by faith are nothing, without love of God from a pure heart. How much less is faith without works, dead.

2Ti 2:22
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Hebrews{13:7}
Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

Faith-alone without works follows nothing. If works follow faith, and faith can be followed, then it's not faith-alone, but faith with works.

Also it is love alone and everything stems from love including faith and love is the fulfilling of the law.
Exactly.

Rom 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Faith-lone without works does not fulfill the righteousness of the law, even as without walking fulfills nothing.

Rev 9:20
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

Faith-alone without works is an idol, that does not walk. Nor can it be followed by them that do see and hear and walk.

Faith-alone without works has no legs to stand on.

Israel was under the law and Gentile nations were not under the law.
The law of Moses is passed with the Old covenant. The new covenant law of Christ now lives to judge every man's work, especially the lawless:

Rom 2:12
For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

We don't need to fulfill the law because Jesus did that for Israel.
Faith-alone without works cannot fulfill the law of God, being lawless.

Mat 7:12
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

And, no one has to fulfill the law of Christ, because no one has to be justified by Christ.

Rom 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

James{1:22}
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

We Gentiles are grafted into the Jesus rather than being a cultivated olive tree.
Anyone having faith-alone without works is grafted into nothing. There's no branch to graft in. Fruit doesn't hang on air alone.

A believing branch with fruit cannot be without works, but only faith with works.

We are saved by grace through faith.
True. Not by grace through faith-alone without works.

Jas 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Jhn 15:5
If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Faith-alone without works abides only in death, even as a branch without fruit burn only in the fire.
We are not saved because of specific work we have performed.
No one is saved by faith-alone without works, because they do nothing to be saved:

Luke 10
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

Act 16:29
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Rom 10:9
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
James{1:22}
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Luk 6:46
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
It is good to boast in Jesus and live a life of gratitude for His reconciliation.
Faith-alone without works can boast of nothing, and no one, except in themselves:

Hab 2:4

Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.
Only those living by the faith of Jesus are justified to boast of Him:
Rev 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Faith-alone without works keeps no commandments, nor has any faith in Jesus Christ the righteous.

Faith-alone is an idol boast that does nothing. Except only to boast in their faith-alone:

Psalms{12:3}
The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?

That there is a period of immaturity for new believers can be seen in Corinth.

1Co 3:1 And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.
1Co 3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
1Co 3:3 For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?
1Co 3:4 For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?
These are old believers acting as babies, still being carnal enough to argue about who is their favorite preacher.

Sadly most Christian today do not grow much in their faith,
Factually, Christians with faith-alone and not works, grow nothing, being dead.

but are still justified because under the grace gospel one is justified when they are placed into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit.
There is no faith-alone person doing nothing in the body of Christ.

Jhn 15:1
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth

Luk 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Jhn 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.
Those having faith-alone without works, are left alone with their faith, that does nothing to please God.

It is in this placement by which the blood of Christ covers our sins.
The blood of the lamb of God washes away sins, not only covers them.

Jhn 1:29
The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world

Heb 9:12
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

The Spirit's blood of Christ Jesus is not the blood of bulls and goats, that only covers transgressions, and does not purify the soul from sins.

Mat 1:21
And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

good question
I was wondering if a person is saved by the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ yet is limited due to disabilities to where his works are not clearly seen by man does he have works to do? How is the works defined?
Since faith-alone without works cannot work to justify anyone, then your question is: What are works to have faith with works?

First, with God the Spirit, there is no faith-alone without works, because works begin in the heart of man, not in the flesh only:

Mat 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Gal 5:19
Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like:

Works of the flesh are not limited to the flesh, but are lusts in the heart, such as idolatry, hatred, envyings, coveteousness...These things are works committed in the spirit, that only God can see and judge.

And so, once again, no living person on earth can be without works, but only the dead. God judges every person's work, beginning in the heart:

Psa 44:21
Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.

Rom 2:16
In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

what is their is a Cognitive disability that greatly hinder ones communication ?
You mean not confessing the Lord Jesus with the mouth? Once again, God sees the work of the heart, and not the flesh alone:

1Sa 16:7
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Heb 4:12
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Even as the Lord can be denied by deeds without words, so can the Lord be confessed by deeds without words.

The works of men and women created in the image of God, are intents of the heart, words, and deeds. The animals not created in God's image, have no heart nor spirit nor mouth to do good or evil.
And IS God still able to know them where man cannot?
And such is seeking the justification of God by works, not with men:

Matthew{23:5}
But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

Matthew{23:5}
But all their works they do for to be seen of men:

Good questions. Thanks.

How can any person have faith-alone without works, and also have their faith with works? How can any person be justified by faith-alone without works, and also by justified by their faith, with works?

Faith alone justification is logical and practical dysfunction. I.e. It can only justify a person by having faith-alone without works, then how can it work to justify anyone, that is practicing their faith.

Let's look at the logical and practical malfunction of justification by faith-alone without works: 1) It cannot be for people living their faith, since their faith is with works. 2) It be for anyone without works, since no living person can be without works.

1). Since faith-alone is only without works, then no person can have faith-alone with works.

And so, a person can only have faith-alone, when not practicing their faith. Else, their faith is with works, not alone without works.

Therefore, no living person can only be justified by faith-alone with works, and live by their faith. Else they are justified by their faith with works.

Either a person is justified by their faith-alone without works, or by their faith with works, not both: Else alone is no more alone, and works is no more works. As Scripture would say:

For if justification be by faith-alone, then is it no more with works: otherwise alone is no more alone. But if faith be with works, then is it no more justification by faith-alone: otherwise work is no more work.

And so, we conclude that justification by faith-alone without works, is not practical, because faith cannot be practiced, and also justify without works.

The only practical justification for the living, is by faith and with works. Else no living person can ever by justified by faith and live by their faith.

Hab 2:4
Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.

2). No living person can have faith-alone without works, since no living person can be without works. The living that do no works at all, is doing an evil work, by not doing good:

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Only the dead can do no works at all, and so only the dead can have faith-alone without works.

Jas 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

And yet, the dead can have no faith at all, else faith is no more faith, and dead is no more dead.

Conclusion: Justification by faith-alone without works, is so dysfunctional, that not even the dead can practice it, much less the living...

Saving Faith cannot be divorced from godly/loving works,
so the proper way of stating the distinction is "faith first to last" (Rom. 1:17),
"faith that works" (John 6:29), or "faith that produces godly fruit" (Gal. 5:6, 22-23).

Someone can be alone apart from the company of other humans while not being alone apart from the company of their pets, so someone can be alone and not alone at the same time in different senses.
And no one can be without works in life, whether in the company of man, beast, and certainly not with God.

Luk 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Men and women are either doing good or evil. No living person is doing nothing in the sight of God:

1Jo 1:1
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;...This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

A living person therefore cannot have faith-alone without works, because only the dead do nothing before God and man.

Jas 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

If men and women can be do nothing on earth without works, then God cannot judge our works. But god judges everyone doing good or evil, and not doing good, is doing evil:

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

so it is important to recognize that the Bible can speak against being required to do works for incorrect reasons without speaking against being required to do them for the reasons that God commanded them.
Whether speaking for or against works, they are works being spoken of, not no works.

The question is having faith-alone without works. Which is not possible with God:

Luk 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

In Romans 3:28-31, we are declared righteous by faith alone apart from works done in order to earn it as the result,
Other than faith being 'alone', which is dead, you are correct about being declared righteous by faith apart from any works we have done, before having faith in Jesus Christ.

Titus{3:4}
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

(The peculiar question is why insert 'alone' into Scripture, where Scripture does not say it. And only serves to destroy the faith Scripture is preaching?)

In any case, having faith-alone apart from works being done, is the dysfunctional justification that does not work in life.

but we are not declared righteous by faith alone apart from becoming a doer of righteous works in obedience to the Law of God.
This is Scripture. Leave out the 'alone' in the first part, and you won't be contradicting yourself in the last part.

"In Romans 3:28-31, we are declared righteous by faith apart from works done in order to earn it. We are not declared righteous by faith alone apart from doing righteous works in obedience to the Law of God."
I.e. We are declared righteous by faith, not doing our own righteousness, but only doing God's righteousness of the law.

Rom 8:4
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The significance of our obedience to the Law of God has absolutely nothing to do with trying to earn our righteousness as the result,
Correct. Which would be doing the works of the law without faith toward God.

Doing the righteousness of God by faith in Jesus Christ is the reward of repentance, not a wage for doing our own righteousness alone.

Righteousness by faith-alone without works, is one's own righteousness that does nothing in life.

When a person is doing righteousness of God by faith, it's righteous faith toward God with works, nor self righteous faith-alone without works.

the Bible does not present the righteous living by faith as being an alternative to living in obedience to the Law of God,
Very true. Nor is faith-alone without works a living alternative to anything, other than being dead.

but rather it presents the righteous living by faith as being the manner in which we live in obedience to the Law of God as an alternative to living in obedience to it in order to earn a wage.
Good again. The gospel good news is that man can repent of doing our own works of righteousness, by faith in Jesus Christ to do God's righteousness freely from the heart.

Doing the law without faith, justifies no man, nor having faith without doing the law.

Rom 2:13
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.

James{1:22}
But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James{2:22}
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

Antinomianism is very popular today.
True. Which is from justification by faith-alone without works.

"We don't need to fulfill the law because Jesus did that for Israel."

Because Jesus kept the law, no one else needs to...As though Jesus is keeping the law for someone transgressing the law.

The Lord Jesus needs to keep the law, to fulfill the righteousness of God, but man does not need keep the law to be justified with God?

Justification by faith-alone without works, is dysfunctional in many ways...It's dead and lawless. For where there are no works, there is no law.

It's always more popular with transgressors to be justified without repentance, than to be justified with repenting from transgressions:

Mar 2:17
When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Mat 22:14
For many are called, but few are chosen.

True.

Deu 32:28
For they are a nation void of counsel, neither is there any understanding in them.

That's why it's called dysfunctional. There's no explanation for what God doesn't even understand:

Deu 5:29
O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

Ezek 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Deu 32:29
O that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

Saving Faith cannot be divorced from godly/loving works,
so the proper way of stating the distinction is "faith first to last" (Rom. 1:17),
"faith that works" (John 6:29), or "faith that produces godly fruit" (Gal. 5:6, 22-23).
In fact, anything about faith, other than faith 'alone', is good for salvation and justification with God.

You just can't go wrong by preaching Scripture of faith, which is never written 'faith alone', except when it's dead...

It's just logically dysfunctional to keep writing 'alone' into Scripture of faith, and making it dead.

Gal 1:23
But they had heard only, That he which persecuted us in times past now preacheth the faith which once he destroyed.

At least Paul only destroyed faith as an unbeliever...

Better Biblical Answer?:

faith and works Is For Israel, gospel of the kingdom, to Twelve apostles for Twelve tribes!
Faith without works is 100% dead.

Jas 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

works are Biblically?:
1) Not for Justification, but for:

Justification by faith without works is 100% dysfunctional:

James{2:21}
Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.

It's not surprising that the guilty want to be justified apart from their evil deeds. That's the common goal of most every lawbreaker in court.

But, trying to argue for it by writing against the Judge's own Book? As though no one can see it?

It's one thing to try and justify the guilty doing evil, but another thing entirely to insult the intelligence of the Judge to do so.

And so, no one preaching faith-alone justification without works, has tried to answer it being so illogical and impractical:

How can anyone having works, also have faith-alone without works? How can anyone only justified by faith-alone without works, be justified having faith with works? How can anyone alive be without works? Much less have faith without works?

They have tried to talk around it, but never directly answered it.

It reminds me of the challenge to sinners having no part in Jesus' sacrificial work of dying on a cross. Afterall, Sinners are the cause for Jesus needing to come and die for sins. And sinners are the ones, that crucified Jesus on a cross by sinning against Him.

How can sinners, that are the cause and the means of Jesus's sacrificial work on the cross, have no part in His death for sins, by crucifixion as the hands of sinners?

It makes no more logical nor practical sense, than anyone alive on earth doing works, can only be justified by faith-alone without works. Unless as Paul would say:

Rom 11:6
And if by faith-alone, then is it no more with works: otherwise faith-alone is no more faith-alone. But if it be with works, then is it no more faith-alone: otherwise work is no more work.

The answer certainly isn't doing nothing.
Preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ is not about preaching works of any description.

Romans 10:9-10
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead,
you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses,
resulting in salvation
.

It's that simple.

See ATG, no works in the gospel of grace; the gospel of salvation.

If you want to discuss the Christian lifestyle then that is a topic for another day.

There is a vast distinction between that free gift of immortality and your response to that free gift.

Matthew 19:26
And looking at them Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Boast in Jesus.

Not sure what you are saying in the quotation above; can you explain it again because it appears to be
a contradictory statement.
The issue of the way to become a righteous person is different from the issue of what describes the behavior of a righteous person. The only way to become a righteous person is through faith apart from being required to have first done enough righteous works in order to earn it as the result, but what it means to be a righteous person is to be a doer of righteous works in obedience to the Law of God (1 John 3:4-7, Isaiah 51:7). It would be contradictory to become a righteous person through faith apart from becoming a doer of righteous works in the same way that it would be contradictory for to become a courageous person apart from becoming a doer of courageous works. This is why the faith by which we are declared righteous apart from works does not abolish our need to be a doer of the Law of God, but other our faith upholds it (Romans 3:28-31).

Another non answer. In any case, ask Jesus Christ. He's the Savior. The answer certainly isn't doing nothing.

Acts 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?...

Are you without works? How then can you be alive, much less be justified with the living God?

Unless someone can answer the dysfunction of faith alone without works, then no one can be saved without works, since it's impossible to be alive without works.

Jas 4:17
Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

Not doing any good, is an evil work. Therefore, with God it's impossible to have faith-alone without works:

Luk 1:37
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Only the dead do nothing.
You misunderstanding is a common misunderstanding that has been embedded in Christianity for 2000 years.

Salvation is given to all those that call on the name of Jesus.

Salvation is not given to those that say "look at my works Lord".

You misunderstand that we cannot contribute to our salvation we can only respond after being saved.

You have salvation and works blended together and more than likely a sacrament or two, plus a water baptism.

I see that one follows on from the other, salvation given to those that call on the name of the Lord.

Then a work is performed in gratitude.

The issue of the way to become a righteous person is different from the issue of what describes the behavior of a righteous person.
Well Soyeong, I agree with the statement above.

The word "behavior" is the key word here.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control;
against such things there is no law.

Do you agree that the fruit of the Holy Spirit generates that reflection of Jesus?

It is also an deep insight into the nature of God Himself.
