What is life, without a flower
A cup of coffee in the morning
Opening eyes and seeing sunshine.
What is life, with without a bird to sing
Or a little chirp from one who can't
And a wish for a happy day.
What is life, when we can't follow
An illusive dream of something impossible
Or have eggs for breakfast now and then.
What is life, if at the closing of the day
There isn't a thought of tomorrow
That when we awaken, we can do it again.
