could the serpent in the garden of eden have been a river serpent? in mythology serpents and dragons are often depiected as fire creatures but in reality and in the bible these creatures are aquatic in nature.

Moses was placed into the river nile as a baby and was pulled from the river by Phaoroahs daughter and thus recieved his name moses because he was pulled from the water.
