This mini tart also known as Hongkong Egg tart in Hongkong and Pie Susu in Bali..
Crust Recipe:
150 grams all purpose flour
90 grams butter (depend on humidity in your area.. can be less or more, 90 grams is perfect for me)
1 egg yolk
15 grams powder sugar
1. mix all ingredient, mold into small tart mold
2. pinch with fork
3. set aside
Filling:
120 grams milk
1 egg
40 grams caster sugar
1 tsp corn starch
1 tsp custard powder
*can be subtitute each other (2 tsp corn starch OR 2 tsp custard powder.. it will work either way)
vanilla extract and a pinch of salt
1. mix all ingredient
2. shift 2x to get smooth texture
3. fill into the crust shell
4. bake until the topping golden (if still pale, its not done yet)
*low heat temperature
*took around 45-50 minutes
OTHERs Flavor:
you can add chocolate powder/DCC or Matcha green tea powder into milk mixture
you can sprinkle cheese or oreo powder or almond slices or raisin on the top
