Egypt gods

[Stephen777]

I am not going to go into this fully but just throw the idea out there.
I believe that the fallen angels were the gods the Egyptians worshipped and told the stories of. The idea that the nephalim come in here, how the pyramids was made and how stone types from across the land made it to these locations. Just a quick view of the idea.

It seems plausible to me that demons/fallen angels in general had a lot to do with pagan religions. It could be that they directed how these religions originated, but on the other hand, fallen humans are more than capable of creating idols and false religions on their own, so I find it perhaps more plausible that the demonic involvement could be (at least in some cases) just that they were happy to occupy and amplify any place where humans had built something that rebels against the true God. Perhaps that's also how one could think about some UFO-related phenomena (such that is not explained by advanced but secret human technology, etc). The stories about aliens etc may have originated first from people's own creative imagination, but as they start to gain popularity and also gain attributes that make them a "god-alternative" of sorts, it might motivate demonic forces to play along and make the most of it as a tool in their rebellion against God as they try to lead people astray. But this is just my speculation.

[Dude653]

I would say that's speculation. They could have just been entirely made up

Yeah, I agree that it's speculation (not sure which one of us you were replying to). For me, things like this enter into the category of "plausible" once viewed from a Christian perspective, but "they [gods of the Egyptians, or even if applied to my point about aliens etc.] could have just been entirely made up" is also plausible.

I believe it is a mathematical probability that life is out there somewhere in the universe but the problem is they wouldn't be able to live long enough to travel that far

I'm less sure of the mathematical probability of it (the calculations seem to differ depending on who you ask and it's unclear to me if any of them are really well-grounded enough). Nevertheless, I think I generally agree that there could be life elsewhere in the universe (either due to how God set up the laws of nature or due to his more active creative purposes that he hasn't chosen to reveal to us). Also it seems unlikely that they'd be close enough to travel here.

Of course the Egyptian gods were demons.
They don't probably look like the idols, but the Egyptians rejected the true God and that's what they summoned and based their stupid society on. ....demons.

Thank goodness we know the one true God, Father and Creator of all as the One we worship, obey and give thanks to

That's a theory that's been floated by someone I know who bases his ministry on the unknown and extra biblical sources. I'm not criticizing you. I once considered the same possibility. The man who has the ministry is basically a very nice person, but I disagree with his books based on a few things. One disagreement is the following. He holds the book of Enoch in higher esteem than I do. I don't believe that Enoch wrote it nor do I believe that it is the prophecy refered to in the Bible that was made before Noah left on his sea voyage.

I was told by guys who read the book of Enoch, that Enoch actually wrote it and that it was supposed to be inspired Scripture.
I listened to a few of the experts and realized when a pagan witch showed up at a Bible study and showed me his Book. It was obviously bogus. Then I found out there were other books claiming the same title. I read portions and realized at first glance that they were bogus too. When I saw the height of the giants, they would make king Kong look like a tiny toy. It was laughable.
The Bible gave actual heights of these giants that were in reasonable comparison to this man. The Book of Genesis is correct, but at least I settled in my mind that there are still a lot of books claiming Divine inspiration, but are not. Even Paul warned about those claiming to be his but we're not. That was in his own day.

I find that fully plausible.

And I think we have fallen angels working in the governments of the world to bring about our destruction. Maybe those same false gods in different packaging?

Much love!

The view of Giants of the so called Book of Enoch, who hold to the Giants building the pyramids view were more than tall. You can do the math yourself and will discover the claimed height of this fictional book bigger than any marvel comic villains or giant late night TV monsters. They would make the following giant into a Barbie Doll.

The unbiblical book that is superimposed OVER the True Book of Genesis as their gold standard of interpretation puts the Giants as, get this, 4,500 feet tall ! Again, that Hollywood giant in the movie is called the 50 Foot Woman." It's pretty funny to suggest that people in Genesis chapter 6 were even 50 feet tall. It doesn't, nor were they 4,500 feet tall and making giant babies with the daughters of men. Do you see my point on the pyramid theory?
I'm not criticizing your consideration of this. Like I said, I considered it too and mainly because that's what my pastor taught me.

Humans don't need any help finding things to worship. We've been doing it just fine on our own for millennia.

Even our current worship of our own intellect and acomplishment is nothing new. Nebuchadnezzar beat us to it by a few thousand years.

Of course the Egyptian gods were demons.

Their society was far from stupid. They did much more than we have done with much less than we have, pagan gods notwithstanding.

The Carnegie Museum has a valuable collection of ancient Egyptian archeological history. I find it interesting.
Context wasn't the technology. It was the rejection of our true God for their fake gods. In my opinion, any pagan culture is stupid even if they have individuals with a high IQ.
I've seen Americans reject God for a fascination in the wicked religion of Egypt and their stupid book of the dead. I'm pretty opinionated about it because I've seen parents encourage their children to pursue unhealthy interests in Egyptian religion. One I'm aware of led to a teenager summoning those gods.

Egypt conquered the neighboring nations at one time and had developed civilization. Our people served them as slaves for over 400 years. During Joseph's reign they were the agricultural hub and wealthiest nation. However, the Bible uses them as a byword now, an insult like Sodom.

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God."
Psalm 9:17

That's what I meant by my comment.

The Egyptians had that old school hermetic wisdom/ sacred geometry so they could do things like move objects around and transmute things, you can see this in exodus with the serpent rods. Dunno much about the nephilim doing all of the leg-work for them but i imagine that's where they got the wisdom from.

Here's a factual place in Florida, The Coral Castle, where a man had the secrets of anti-gravity and moved huge stones to make the place. It's thought to be the same process the ones who moved huge stones back then had. He took the secret to his grave and 'someone' stole all his notes on the 'matter'.
