He knew my heart before I was born, yes?
How? Did you make decisions before you were born? In the womb?
He knew my heart before I was born, yes?
He knew my heart before I was born, yes?
Not trueYes that is what R C Sproul teaches, however that is not what scripture teaches... God does not select a certain group for salvation.
If He selects a certain group then by default He does not select another.
Nope. Only those in Christ. Paul is talking to those who have already trusted Christ.
Good luck, John can get on your nerves, I have to back out of the conversation with him,I pray god can use you to pry open whats the truthHe knew my heart before I was born, yes?
Using Scripture, define omniscience.
inductive reasoning here . This is the basis for many false teachings within Calvinism . An 8 year old boy is seen doing 50 back flips in a row , therefore all 8 year old boys can do 50 back flips in a row .Did God know Cyrus before he was born? When did God predestinate what Cyrus would do for the Jews?
How about Jeremiah? Did God foreknow and predestinate Jeremiah before he was born?

Its not the basis in which to conclude that God does the same thing in the same way in all instances. This is why Calvinism leans so heavily on the Lydia narrative ect mSo the fact that God can do something is not a basis for believing God can do something?

Every time.. so true... how she is always put forth.
Same script .. I find that very interesting.
There you go. Romans 828. All things work together for good to them that love the Lord who are the called according to his purpose for whom God did forknow, He did predestinate, And whom he predestinated he called etc.
God foreknows them that are going to be part of the future adoption. That's foreknowledge! The adoption has not happened, yet God has knowledge of those who will be adopted.
How does God know who are His? Allow Scripture to tell us...
2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.
God knows those who are His by the seal of the Holy Spirit He has placed within every believer. Now that's Scripture!
You would think Paul would have said what he meant by “this seal” in the context. And he did. And he’s not talking about what you say he is.
When did God first love you? Did He know your name before you were conceived? Did the Father know Jesus was praying for you when He said “ I pray for those who will believe through their word” in John 17?
Good thing Scripture defines it for us. No guess work here...
Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
God's seal is the Holy Spirit.
