for the past several years there's been a mass Exodus of younger people from Facebook, probably for the same reasons I mentioned, the news feed is like 99% irrelevant political rage bait and weird ai.
also since Facebook got rid of fact checkers there are a lot of fake stories written by AI
a quick telll that it's a fake AI story is when you Google it and don't find a single source reporting it

Here in this country even the filthy disgusting kkk can apply for a permit and go spewing thier garbage. And a herd of purple haired sky screamers can destroy a college because some one said a man can't get pregnant. It is what it is. I know when someone is running around screaming about what should or shouldn't offend someone else they have an agenda and it aint called hate speach.
This right here is worth repeating.
USA is one of the few places (i think) where actual Nazi members can parade around in Washington DC. When i first heard of this like 15 years ago, i though it was some bad act with no malice intended but when i looked more into it, those people parading around were repeating the same Hitler talking points. I had no words.
In Germany if you do the Nazi salute you go to jail. That's because they have a different perspective of what war and suffering is.
But in US a lot is allowed in the name of free speech and i mean A LOT. The left wants to muzzle free speech but the other aspect of this which is something worth repeating again is that people get lost in the act or game. This is the whole concept that Christ explained to us all with the war of spirit vs flesh.
We all have sinful thoughts, but refrain yourself from acting them out and don't wear a Nazi uniform in DC or go into a woman's bathroom as a man.

I believe there are a few reasons for the mass exodus.
1. the way Facebook's algorithm runs on rage bait
it's either going to be right wing propaganda or some type of left wing woke virtue signaling.
2. 99% of the news feed now is just irrelevant spam instead of stuff from your friends.
3. weird cringy ai.
4. the removal of fact checking and fake AI written stories.
5. the complete lack of any human beings to appeal to should your account be suspended or banned for some arbitrary
Facebook is entirely run by bots now.
I see the political spectrum as a teeter totter. The further left it goes the further right it will go to balance out. People will begin accepting truly bad people just because the other side has went so far they want to puke and vise versa. At this point if Hitler ran as a republican and stalin as a Democrat one of those 2 would be president. And people.would actually be arguing which one would be better.

As to who is building electrical infrastructure, who is offering tax breaks to data centers, who is actually building electricity generating facilities and who is not. Has any old mines been reopened?
All sorts of questions that you never thought to ask.
These things can tell you what is really going on moreso than any politician or news media can.
Industry is important for a LOT of reasons. Some have difficult requirements to meet.
Can't have any felonies and work in a priority field. Meaning that those with DUI's can't get a job in either a Data Center, Airport, or Shipyard. Also drug screening is everywhere. So where lots of people like using THC in small amounts where it's legal, it will cost you a job anyway. Fentanyl users also need not apply.
I'm retired....but the needed numbers for skilled trades and the wages they are paying makes me wish I wasn't.
