write a morning n eve prayer for us to recite when we arise n before we go to bed ;
my morning prayer :
blessed are you; lord GODof my salvation to you be praise and glory forever may i the fruit of your new creation rejoice in this new day you have made youhave made and praise you for your mighty acts ; blessed to be GOD father son and holy spirit amen
 
I knew a person who does this at church - in the morning they lay the day before the Lord and pray a blessing on their family.
And they thank God for the day in the evening and prayer for His peace over their household, a good nights sleep for refreshement of body and spirit. They have specific prayers written out for their situation.

I have often thought it was a good idea - although I have never got around to doing the same myself - but you have reminded me of this. Thanks Shirley I will have to give it some thought again.
 
God and I usually talk for an hour or so before I get up and before I fall asleep. We're talking on and off all day of course, but there are distractions then. We get into all kinds of things; my future, Scriptures, other people's needs I may have overlooked....
 
I have lately prayed to god first thing when i wake up for him to fill my spirit and for him to show his glory today. I tell him I can't wait to just enjoy being with him. I always talk to him about random things before sleep but They always revolve mostly around him, which is good i guess. I just have so much time on my hands i spend every waking hour with him and thus my heart only desires him, there just isn't any room for anything else. I have felt cut off from him today and it was my fault because i let stress and things distract me but i told god I knew tomorrow will be much better. Just being in his presence all the time may not be possible but i have prayed for him to tach me to thank and praise him even in theses times of stress and confusion. I think this would be a great prayer for all of us:D
 
i pray all day long,1st thess.5:17-18 plus visit a monastary chapel 4 prayer too amen
