Ever just do random brainless stuff?

I also have the tendency to start answering my cell phone with my greeting from the hotel. Or I will answer the phone at my Chinese delivery job with the greeting from the hotel... Who thinks I've been at the hotel too long? Lol.

I can't think of any right off the top of my head unless you consider going back and forth with someone on CC for hours about who was going to be the last person to post to win in the forums rofl.
 
Lol, Thanks, CMW, only, I don't drink coffee. A mountain Dew might do nicely thoug.
 
Ok I just remembered one that comes to mind and this happened yesterday and of all things I WAS on the phone. I went and started a pot of water so I could have ramen for lunch yesterday. After starting the water I returned to my phone conversation. A little while later after having completely forgotten about the water I remembered it and thankfully the pot wasn't scolded white from not having any water in it.
 
I called my girl best friend looking for my guy best friend and was surprised when a girl answered the phone, because he lives alone.
 
I used to deliver pizzas, and one night I accidently left a whole bag of pizzas on the roof of my car. Surprisingly, they didn't fall off. So I was driving around for about 20 minutes with 6 pizzas on top of my car.
 
Ok all I have to share this one. When I first logged into chat I forgot I didn't have the microphone plugged in and keyed the button to talk. People were telling me that there was no sound and I couldn't figure out why. So I started checking my system and come to find out the head set wasn't even plugged in.
 
Gotta love it Jon... Thank goodness you have clueless moments every once in a while. ;)
 
I am extremely forgetful, So once i was goin to get gas, and i put the nozzle in my gas tank. Then i just got in my car and drove off ripping the whole hose out i drove about a mile before i realized the thing was still in my gas tank and there was about 3 feet of hose dragging behind my car. You shoulda seen the look on the peoples faces when i brought it back to the gas station. They werent to happy with me...And the thing that stink is.. i still didnt get gas in my car.

I have done (and continue to do) many random, brainless things.

I made a cake once, and when I got it out of the oven I wondered why it was so dry-ish and falling apart.

The next morning I found the jug of melted butter that was meant to go in the cake, in my microwave. Yeah, I forgot to put it in the cake.

I also put salt in something once, instead of sugar. Yeah, that was tasty NOT!

I have done so many things like this I could honestly write a book. The meds I used to take, made me do stupid, crazy, random, forgetful things... ahhh those were the good old days!
 
Lei I work at a gas station and I hope that never happens on my shift or anyone i work with truthfully. Even though there are a few people I work with I don't particularly get along with I wouldn't wish that on anyone. But as Iraa worded it...That's good.
 
I almost put 1 1/3 cup of oil and 1/3 cup of water into a cake mix. Good thing I decided to check the box again just to make sure.
 
I walk into my house and set down my keys and walk back to my room... And I always end up coming back out to find my keys like 5 minutes later, and have NO idea where I've put them... You could think i could find them after only 5 minutes..
