Every year at the same time I always get sick. No matter what I do it finds me. If 10 is can't get out of bed because I'm going to die sick, and 1 is dancing and singing in the sunshine, then for about three weeks every year I hover at around a 4-5. I don't have allergies. I've been tested. However I believes it due to weather change. Its not necessarily cold weather, just changes. Lets face it. I live in LA. There is no cold weather. :). But I've noticed that my illness always coincides with the weeks when it's freezing cold for a few days and then there's a heat wave. Then it rains. Then the wind, the wind with a heat wave, etc. the other thing that happens is its freezing (for me) in the morning and then its 90 degrees by noon.
Everything this season hits, I stay half sick for weeks. And every year I crumbłe in mid december. Well, today I woke up with no voice. After weeks, I've gone from 4 to 8. Here's the problem. I am supposed to sing 4 songs at the Christmas service on Saturday. I really need my voice back.
 
Once, when my wife was about your age, she was so hoarse, she could not utter a sound. But she had committed to singing something that night. She walked up to the microphone, guitar in hand, whispered into it "I don't know if I can even sing, but I'm going to trust the Lord", played the first chord, sang the song perfectly, then sat back down, unable to talk.

Of course, my wife was a top-rate worship leader, and she spent time singing love songs to God. I hope you are doing that, as well.
 
I have prayed for you for three months. You remind me so much of her when she was your age. I'm sure He will take it from there.

Jordache, lots of folks are affected by barometric pressure changes.
This is NOT all in your head. (just in case you may have been thinking that :) )
