From an earlier time if you like, but there is no mention of the water's creation. Genesis does not explain where the water came from, it is simply there and God is described as hovering over it.
My son’s New Oxford Annotated Bible explains that “the text does not describe creation out of nothing (contrast 2 Macc 7.28). Instead, the story emphasizes how God creates order from a watery chaos.” (NOAB, p. 11)
When were the planets created? On day four when the stars and the greater and lesser light were formed.
“In a critical response to non-Israelite cultures who worshiped these heavenly bodies, the bodies are not named and are identified as mere timekeepers.” (NOAB, p. 12)
I think your full of deceit myself. Genesis might not specifically explain where the water came from but the Holy Ghost knows. Thus, in Genesis 1:2, did the Holy Ghost move upon the water or did he walk upon the water? Where there waves in the water? Sitting in the sun they must have moving with the tides right?
As far as when the planets where created? Unless you are willing to put a thus sayeth the LORD God before your response then then I am of the opinion that 1 John 2:27 is sufficient to conclude that you neither know what the two great lights are since Genesis is probably foolishness to you since your probably hold that the Inflation theory is the cosmology model of the enlightened?
And what, pray tell are the two great lights? The two bodies are named, actually the two are one kind of like a man and his wife shall be one.
As written in John 11:9-10
9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbleth not, because he seeth the light of this world. 10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbleth, because there is no light in him.
Look forward to your response.
