the word of God tells us that no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but only that which is good to the use of edifying ....calling some "trolls" ... we don't talk like that.
As for the OP may I ask what's the point here? We were given all power over the enemy, and authority. Nothing shall, by any means, hurt us. He also said "And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues". It's written, "Greater is he that is in you than he that's of the world." Not knowing God's word, not knowing the power of that name, Jesus Christ, the enemy can bother you, can hurt you, can destroy you.
The simple fact, these signs shall follow them that believe. This is written. Some believe, some do not. Just because some say the name of Jesus, does not mean they know him. He said, "All things are possible to them that believe." Some can have great faith, yet still doubt in their heart. This is not something to play with, nor something to seek out.
So (A) You didnt read the Topic. (B) You dont know anything about Exorcism or have Experience of it and (C) You are abusing me for Ignoring Trolls that were Trolling me. Thank you.
I dont have any, neither am I a Bible expert. I only know what I have studied online, and the Supernatural experiences Ive had. Hoping that people knows more than me about it, given that Demons and Exorcism are a very important part of the Bible.
I am advised though that Holy Water/Salt, Frankincense, Silver Crosses, Cameras, Lights and Reciting the Bible/Praying is recommended as personal Protection.
Fantasy ... that is a fitting description.
And the books and more books belong in the Fantasy section as well.
But what is more important is what the Bible says, rather than what you have been told. Does God's word tell us anywhere that demons are disembodied Nephilim who were killed in the Flood? The word "demons" occurs 49 times in our English Bibles, and not once does it say that they are Nephilim.
This forum is called Christian Chat. The Christian's authority is God's word, the Bible. We can do Google searches for all sorts of unbiblical things, but the fact that such searches produce results doesn't make those things biblical. Nowehere in the Bible are we told that we can use salt, frankincense and the rest to protect ourselves from demons.
I was not claiming or even trying to do that. The subject was not exorcism, but protecting oneself from demons. You had posted that things such as salt and light can be used to defend oneself against demons. Surely exorcism is casting out demons, not protecting oneself against them.
Genesis 6:1–4 does not say giants already existed; it says “there were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men…” — meaning the narrator ties the appearance of nephilim to the union described, not to a prior chapter.
“Giants already existed” is an assertion not found in the text.
Your second claim — “creatures only reproduce after their own kind” — is true for biological creatures, but Genesis never calls angels “creatures after their kind,” never applies Genesis 1’s reproduction law to heavenly beings, and never says angels are incapable of appearing in human form.
The third claim — “angels are asexual” — is also not stated in Scripture;
Jesus says angels in heaven “neither marry nor are given in marriage,” which is about covenantal union, not biological capability.
Your Cain/Seth lineage theory fails because Genesis never calls Cain’s line “sons of God,” never calls Seth’s line “daughters of men,” and never uses those phrases for human genealogies anywhere.
Every time “sons of God” appears in the Old Testament — Job 1, Job 2, Job 38 — it refers to heavenly beings, not human males.
The world‑system here is demythologizing by humanizing the supernatural, flattening spiritual categories into sociology. The text itself doesn’t support it.
