yes! its like Yah's Spiritual training using His appointed times!

Feast of Unleavend Bread taught me some great lesson for walking in Yah's way and what I need to do in my life to allow for this to be so, you know so I didnt get in His way with my transgression.

One of the 1st years we did unleavened bread, I saw the instruction to get it out of your house. So I put in a bag and put it outside in my alley, then went and got it a week later.
LESSON: Sometimes I put sin out of my life for a season because it seems appropriate, only to intentionally go back and indulge in it again later.

Another year, we gave our yeast to our neighbor who didn't care about the Feast.
LESSON: Why would I pass along my sinful nature to someone else and let them deal with it?
LESSON 2: Why don't I continually give that nature over to God and let HIM deal with it instead?

my brother, just my view:

I prefer amd do just throw all leaven away, it is a metaphor for getting rid of sin, you know He created us and I believe He uses these days to train our consciousness and SUBCONSCIOUSNESS, so I think we should get rid of it not stash it for later!

just giving my view, not trying to be abrasive

I agree completely. That's what we do now. I was relating what we did at the beginning. Fortunately, our lives are all about progressive revelation and maturity. Every year we've learned something new through the Feast, and we do it a little differently.

ok, my fault I missed that, and yes maturity in Messiah is continual process, I and still growing in Messiah and Yahweh willing this will continue!

halleluYAHWEH!

and exactly what does acting out shadow rituals which pointed to CHRIST THE PERSON have to do with the Blood of the lamb and the testimony about Him which causes many to die for His Name.

thanks for a Biblical answer.
If you would open your heart to Christ, you would know.

Thanks for the calendar post. I have already seen controversy there too. Full knowledge will never be attained while we are yet flesh, so we test everything and pray. If we knew everything there would be nothing to seek.

I relate to your leaven story. Reminds me of realizing certain books in my house were not biblical teaching. What to do? Donate them? After thinking on it, they were trash, so out they went.

I can see where so many lessons are learned about God's nature when we live according to His Word. Kinda like a parent who says do this don't do that, without explaining the why, the more we conform to God the more we understand the why.

Sister Zone, I do not know much about the feasts and how they relate to Christ. That is what I am trying to find out!

dear sister karraster...

the spring feasts
1. passover
2. unleavened bread
3. firstfruits
4. pentecost

the fall feasts
5. trumpets
6. atonement
7. tabernacles

you are correct in stating that the spring feasts and the fall feasts are the first and second advent of our lord jesus christ.

each feast is a timeline from god himself to show exactly were we are in god's holy word.

just as the statue that nebuchadnezzar built to be worshipped. this was a timeline from god as well and it goes hand in hand with the feasts as well dear sister karraster.

the spring feasts according to god's holy word is known as the... " former rains. "

as the fall feasts are known as the... " latter rains. "

here are two scriptures to prove this.

hosea 6:3
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

james 5:7-8
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

passover feast ( pesach )
exodus 12:1-13
And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.
7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
10 And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.
11 And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the Lord's passover.
12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.

now lets compare how this feast contrasts with our lord jesus christ.

when the passover was to be observed there were certain rules god said that they must follow and it was all leading to something greater... a prophetic prophesy of our lord jesus christ.

first on the 10th of nisan; a male lamb that was of the first year; was chosen to be the sacrificial lamb for passover and had to be without any blemishes... hence a perfect lamb.

this lamb was inspected by the priests to assure that god's requirements were meet for the lamb.
this lamb was then separated from all the flocks and herds and was cared for and nourished until the 14th of nisan so that way no harm or injury would befall the lamb before the passover.

when the evening of the 14th of nisan came the lamb was the killed by cutting its throat; we must remember that a jewish day began from sundown to sundown the following day; and the blood was contained in a bowl for another use that was required by god for the passover feast. the lamb was used wholly and had to be roasted on a fire. but none of its bones could be broken for then the lamb was unclean and blemished. so therefore careful care was taken unto this particular lamb for passover.

the meal consisted of roasted lamb, unleavened bread, and bitter herbs. this meal was to be eatin at the evening time and then in the morning had to all be burned.

the blood that was saved was to be used to put upon the two wood side posts of the frame of the doorway that entered into the house and also upon the wooden mantel above the two side posts as well.

the blood was applied with a hyssop plant that was dipped and used as a brush to paint the two side posts and the mantle above.

once this was done the jews went into their house and were sealed within till morning of the following day.

here is something else about our lord jesus christ... he was born according to the birth of the lambs which is in spring... the month of nisan. i believe it was on the 2nd of nisan because 8 days later he was circumcised on the 10th of nisan.

when the lamb is chosen and inspected... to be perfect.

god was already manifesting and fulfilling his promise/his covenant he made unto himself and with abraham as the witness over 2,000 years ago.

god was telling the world here is my lamb... my promise... my covenant that only i can fulfill.

now lets compare this with our lord jesus christ according to god's own holy word.

was our lord jesus christ the sacrificial lamb mentioned in the passover?

john 1:29
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

1 peter 1:19-20
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,

so we see here god is saying in his holy word that our lord jesus christ is this sacrificial lamb.

yes but how is our lord jesus christ the first of us all if he was just born 2,000 years ago?

colossians 1:14-17
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

so our lord jesus christ was the first of all creation so therefore only our lord jesus christ could fulfill this prophetic prophesy of the sacrificial lamb for the passover.

but what does the hyssop and the blood all symbolize... as well as the token on the door posts and mantle?

first off the blood.

matthew 26:28
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

leviticus 17:11
11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

what about the wooden door side posts and mantle symbolize?

1 peter 2:24
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

so its the blood that was shed upon the cross... well ok what about the its significance of the token then?

matthew 26:28
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

ephesians 4:13-14
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

so the blood is the seal/token in which we are sealed by until the day our lord jesus christ receives us unto himself. and that seal/token is the holy spirit.

now the hyssop is a common weed and symbolizes our faith. and through faith we apply the blood to our daily lives for our sins that we still commit each and every day. faith to do the promises that god himself has ordained us to do here and now as it was just then.

we also see that our lord jesus christ died wholly. not one broken bone.

so here is the jest of it all... sorry so long dear sister but i gave you the short version even.

if you have any questions please ask me or if you have things to add as well i would love to hear them.

god bless.

Thank you brother Believe, for so carefully laying out this message. It spoke to my heart, and am sure will be a blessing to many others. How could anyone help but be filled with emotion and love after reading? How great is our God that would show us,(mere works of His breath), what great love He has for us, so painstakingly and with such sacrifice to Himself?

I have heard the words about passover my whole life, and never do I recall doubting it. However, only a short time ago did I read about the actuality of what the custom might have been like. Imagine taking a lamb from the herd to inspect and keep so closely with the family, and feed and care for it. Many times it may have been a pet of the children in that family. They may have grown fond of it while it was set apart from the herd. Then to see it killed, for reason of all our sinful ways...that must have had quite an impact on many of those in days gone by. A beautiful and perfect lamb, slaughtered because only blood covers sin. Sin is death, how can we overcome it? God made a way for us in Christ, once and for all, His blood cleanses us whiter than snow... seek Him while He may be found, love Him with all your heart, hold on till the end.

Things I read in the Bible I want to be there, to fully grasp all of it. Imagine walking through the parted sea! I can't do it, it's too wonderful for me to imagine! Tho I do try..

This scripture you posted really gets to me, so powerful, and so comforting!

.hosea 6:3
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

james 5:7-8
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh

If you will please excuse me for a copy and paste, I found an article by Tom Bradford that is done much better than I can:

"Briefly, each Biblical feast is significant and prophetic as follows: 1) Pesach, The Feast of Passover, speaks of redemption…..that the Messiah, our Passover Lamb, was slain for us and his blood atones for our sins. 2) Matza, the Feast of Unleavened Bread, is about sanctification. The ordinance against the use of leavening is Biblically symbolic of a) absence of sin, and b) absence of decay and corruption. Christ’s sinless body was put into the tomb and it did NOT decay. 3) Bikkurim, the Feast of Firstfruits, speaks of firstlings……the first of things which always belongs to God. In the work of Messiah, it is about resurrection; Messiah is called the firstfruits of the resurrection from the dead; Yeshua was the first man to be resurrected from the dead….but, far into the future, other men….you and me….will also be resurrected. These are the 3 Spring Feasts.

Next, we have a Summer Feast: Shavuot, called The Feast of Weeks. We know this one better as Pentecost. Shavuot was timed to occur exactly 50 days from Bikkurim, the Feast of Firstfruits. The Greeks gave this Holy Day the name “Pentecost” meaning 50. This is the awesome day that the Holy Spirit came to indwell men. And, by the way, just so we’re clear: a holy day was NOT created by Christians to celebrate the New Testament happening of the coming of the Holy Spirit; rather, the Holy Spirit CAME on the long established (over 1300 years established), day of Pentecost, Bikkurim. And, in fact, we’ll find that Jesus died on Pesach, went into the tomb on Matza, arose on Bikkurim, and the Holy Spirit descended on men on Shavuot. Now, that is 4 very interesting “coincidences”, are they not?
Well, naturally, I say “coincidences” tongue-in-cheek…."
[/QUOTE A good subject I would like to learn more abut how the feast were fulfilled in Christ Lets have more!!

I'm waiting for the year of Jubilee where all are set free Though i think it has been some what fulfilled already. I bet the earth will love it too.

We can see from Messiah having made Himself known by coming to the world how the spring Feast were fulfilled perfectly!

If one believes in Christ and His Word is true, then it is only logical to believe that His second coming will fulfill the Fall Feast perfectly as well.

To know more about all the Feasts can only bring better understanding of our Lord and Savior, and grow our love and walk with Him.

dear sister karraster

exodus 12:15-20
[SUP]15 [/SUP]Seven days shall ye eat unleavened bread; even the first day ye shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.
[SUP]17 [/SUP]And ye shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall ye observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
[SUP]20 [/SUP]Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall ye eat unleavened bread.

so this feast is after the passover and begins on 15th of nisan and ends on the 21st of nisan. which is exactly a 7 day feast. so we see with this feast of unleavened bread god also had rules to observe this.

for instance, everything that had yeast in it such as drinks, food, bread, and raw dough had to be thrown away and nothing that was leavened could be found in one's home or land. also no leavened could be found throughout the city or camp. even if a stranger was around he could not eat anything leavened or else he would be cut off from god. and there was no exception.

there was also a holy convocation that was to be observed on the first day of the feast of unleavened bread
( 15th of nisan ) and on the last day of the feast of unleavened bread ( 21st 0f nisan. )

leviticus 23:6-8
[SUP]6 [/SUP]And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened bread.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

now lets compare this to our lord jesus christ this feast of unleavened bread...

now this feast of unleavened bread is all about the bread... the bread of life... just as our lord jesus christ stated about himself for us all to be redeemed back to god alone.

therefore this bread has an order which we as believers must follow in order to become the very image of our lord jesus christ and be truly born again.. holy spirit filled.

and if we miss one ingredient from this then we are not born again and holy spirit filled as so many of us believe and say we are.

matthew 25 of the ten virgins shows us this in god's own holy word.

i want to show you something that god has hidden in his holy word so that we may go deep and see god more clearly and his plan and story of redemption being played out so that we may see were we are at in his holy word dear sister.

leviticus 2:1-16
And when any will offer a meat offering unto the Lord, his offering shall be of fine flour; and he shall pour oil upon it, and put frankincense thereon:
[SUP]2 [/SUP]And he shall bring it to Aaron's sons the priests: and he shall take thereout his handful of the flour thereof, and of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof; and the priest shall burn the memorial of it upon the altar, to be an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord:
[SUP]3 [/SUP]And the remnant of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of the Lordmade by fire.
[SUP]4 [/SUP]And if thou bring an oblation of a meat offering baken in the oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with oil.
[SUP]5 [/SUP]And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in a pan, it shall be of fine flour unleavened, mingled with oil.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]Thou shalt part it in pieces, and pour oil thereon: it is a meat offering.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]And if thy oblation be a meat offering baken in the fryingpan, it shall be made of fine flour with oil.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]And thou shalt bring the meat offering that is made of these things unto the Lord: and when it is presented unto the priest, he shall bring it unto the altar.
[SUP]9 [/SUP]And the priest shall take from the meat offering a memorial thereof, and shall burn it upon the altar: it is an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the Lord.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]And that which is left of the meat offering shall be Aaron's and his sons': it is a thing most holy of the offerings of theLord made by fire.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]No meat offering, which ye shall bring unto the Lord, shall be made with leaven: for ye shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of the Lord made by fire.
[SUP]12 [/SUP]As for the oblation of the firstfruits, ye shall offer them unto the Lord: but they shall not be burnt on the altar for a sweet savour.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And every oblation of thy meat offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meat offering: with all thine offerings thou shalt offer salt.
[SUP]14 [/SUP]And if thou offer a meat offering of thy firstfruits unto the Lord, thou shalt offer for the meat offering of thy firstfruits green ears of corn dried by the fire, even corn beaten out of full ears.
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meat offering.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the beaten corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the Lord.

did you notice in this scripture that the meat ( flour ) is prepared three ways...

1. flour form ( flour form )
2. baked bread in an oven of fire ( like a tortilla )
3. baked fried bread in a pan ( like a cracker )

and there are 5 key ingredients used...

1. flour ( grinded )
2. salt
3. olive oil
4. water
5. frankincense

the flour was beaten and grinded to perfection. just as our lord jesus christ was beaten and yet he remained pure, sinless, and perfect unto his death. but by dying on the cross god put the sins of us all upon him... yet our lord jesus christ remained true and pure. the death of an innocent righteous man.

isaiah 53:5
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

1 peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed

zechariah 12:10
And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.
salt is the pure unadulterated word of god.

matthew 5:13-16
13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

olive oil is the holy spirit/holy ghost. but did you notice something important here about the oil in all three ways of preparing the meat offering ( flour )... it was poured on the flour after it was all done, poured on after it was baked from the oven, and poured on after the baked fried bread.

this is a type and shadow of our lord jesus christ on his baptism and upon his resurrection... the very image of our lord jesus christ that he prayed himself for us so that we to could be made into this very image as well being god living in us as god lived in our lord jesus christ... the holy spirit.

did you notice that the bread anointed with oil.

just as our lord jesus christ was and to every born again believer... the image of our lord jesus christ.

john 17:16-26
16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.

the water is a cleansing/washing. just as the our lord jesus christ who himself stated that he is the water of life that cleanses us all from our sins and iniquities. washing by blood and water that separated from our lord jesus christ upon the cross at his death as the spear pierced his side.

john 4:7-14
7 There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink.
8 (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.)
9 Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
11 The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water?
12 Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle?
13 Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

and last is frankincense. which is an anointing oil for death. it was also used to anoint the sacrificial animals as a preparation so that they were cleansed and pure... or as white as snow.

as you see our lord jesus christ went through all of these and no one else could claim or perform all of these.

now i want to also discuss something very important that gets overlooked and it's the " holy convocation. "

the word convocation refers to a gathering but a very special gathering and is also known as a “ set-apart gathering. ”

in hebrew the word “ convocation ” means “ miqra.

in hebrew this word means “ rehearsal. ” the word rehearsal is defined as “ the act of practicing in preparation for an event. ” in other words this was a prophetic prophesy still waiting to actually be fulfilled at calvary. the term “ miqra ” also means to “ read and understand ” the holy words of god given to us by god himself.

the word “ holy ” in hebrew in this context means “ qadash. “

in hebrew this word means to be set-apart or to be holy/sanctified for god.

so what we have here in the 7 feasts of god are all pointing to future events and are played out in each one of the 7 feasts for us to try and understand what god himself is showing us who are willing to see and hear without prejudice and realize that god himself has ordained it and it’s our part to truly and wholly believe

so basically what god is saying is… a holy sanctified gathering set apart from this feast of unleavened bread and all the other feasts that you are observing by faith shall be manifested for all to see and hear.

god bless sister karraster and enjoy.

Brother Believe, thank you for so lovingly preparing this post for provoking love, among those who love our Lord. What a Father we have that by means of instructions he gave would help us to understand how far above us He is, how perfect and just, and holy, and that who are we that He would consider us, yes He knows we are dust...i can't help but feel ashamed with myself because I fall so short...i'm going to copy and keep this, for your special notes. I'm going to try and commit it to memory, as should all God's words be..thank you so much! God bless you~k

hmm didn't know about the feast guess this should be an interesting time to learn about them

I was reading a story about a personal account of removing leaven from the house and all the lessons for the children in the household. After a thorough cleaning the mother would place a small amount of leaven by the stove while the children were busy with the father taking flashlights around the house looking for any remaining leaven. The father had with him a feather and a wooden spoon, when the children found the leaven they watched as the father brushed it on the wooden spoon (the cross, or stake) with the feather (Messiah's wings of grace). They would wrap it in white linen and remove it from the house.

I regret not showing my children these things while they were little. What better way to develop a lifestyle of following Messiah, than to incorporate Him and His teaching in all our ways. For all He has done for us, why didn't I show that to my children..it makes me feel remorse.

showing how each feast is a shadow of a prophetic timeline prophesy that god was going to manifest through his only begotten son... our lord and savior... our lord jesus christ.

god bless and enjoy reading them brother and i pray they are a blessing unto you.

Umm, now the cross is a spoon and Jesus has feathers? Anyone here buying this?

Interesting posts. But I have one question - do you believe that a Christian must celebrate the Feasts in order to be truly saved?

Revelation says the "testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophesy." And since the old is a testimony of Jesus . It is the spirit of prophesy, and is prophetic concerning the past and future. I think this is what Jesus revealed to the apostles when he opened their eyes concerning Himself in the law and the prophets, and the psalms etc. before his ascension. Lately this is all I see when I read the old testament. God is so Good!! God bless you!
