I wake up in silence
and wait for your brightness
my eyes in quietness
feeling a dream again
rubbing my eyes
and letting my lungs escape
my daze has faded away
and my ears are opened
the blackness overtaking
dissipated into nothing
and I feel this burning
this pouring out in my soul
and my eyes are open
I see what lies before
and I've lived what's behind
my mind cannot concieve
and I cannot believe
this path behind me burned
and a new light ahead
Your graciousness
Your faithfulness
Your eyes ever remaining
to dive into the beauty
of who You are
the love You give
the blessing you pour out
Yours forever
and forevermore
