A friend sent me this and i would like to share :)

The Christian life is like a train: the engine is FACT, the coal car is FAITH, and the caboose is FEELING. If you put all your coal in the caboose, the engine either stands still or goes backward down the mountain. But if you put your coal in the engine, it goes forward and picks up steam. Putting your faith in your feelings pulls you backward, and gives you no power, no chance of going forward. Putting your faith in the facts of God's Word pulls you forward and keeps your life going toward the purpose for which God called you.

Cool analogy. I also like to study historical evidence for our faith, of which there is plenty.
