You're one or the other, whether you call yourself that or not.
Thats a major problem

I am neither.. I reject both.. so what you say is not true

However, i do believe many calvinists and arminians are taught in their churches this lie that you are one or the other.

which is why it is a major issue

You are simply fighting scripture.
No, I am making scripture be united with itself.. And making God out to be the one who saved by his work. not my own..

There is no salvation without the remission of sins. Our contact with the shed blood of Christ is not metaphysical. It is through water baptism that we are no longer seen as guilty of our sins.

Not some metaphysical moment that you accepted/trusted Jesus in your heart.

Acts 2:38
Peter answered them, “All of you must turn to God and change the way you think and act, and each of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins will be forgiven. Then you will receive the Holy Spirit as a gift.

Acts 22;16
And now why tarry thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1 Peter 3:21
and this water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also—not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
without the shedding of blood there is no remission.

You were not redeemed because your paster dunked you in water

Your continued misrepresentation of these passages does not support you.

He who believes is not condemned, He who does not believe is condemned already

the fact you can not show baptism in John 3 is the nail in your coffin
The language of the scriptures is not my "continued misrepresentation of these passages" it's simply the scriptures themselves! I didn't add to or take away from them, I simply quoted them. Because you disagree with me you are in essence disagreeing with them. Go complain to God.

but what happens if we wait on God and get hit by a car and pass away before God gives us faith?
as soon as someone, who has never heard the Gospel preached before, hears the Gospel for the First Time, they will IMMEDIATELY think in their minds is God real or I want God and believe He is real. The ones who question if God is real, they might come later, but for now, they are not able to see that God is real. The ones who Accept, they were being Broken as they heard the Gospel of Christ, and the seeds were being planted deeper. Faith, had already began to sprout. But how much Faith that person will ever retain and be able to use, that's what God decides.

The issue is

1. You assume baptism in mark is water baptism.
2. Acts. It does nto say be baptized to recieve remission of sin, this has been proven to you numerous times
3. 1 Peter. once again, Like the water of the flood, which was Gods judgment on mankind, The waters of baptism symbolizes that which saves us.. That water does not remove sin from the body. it is the answer of a good conscious towards God.

your the one disagreeing with God. not me, I take Jesus at his word. if he meant baptism, he would have told us that in all the passages I showed you

No written response for you. I'm simply sitting here shaking my head. Goodbye. Go study. Your remarks make no sense.

"Conscience". Not if you go on sinning. But if you repent and turn away from all your sins and idols, your "conscience" will be at rest. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. (1 John 3:21) Christ took all our sins and guilt upon Himself -- all our iniquities were laid on Him.
Very well said. In the Book of Acts, we see an example of what repentance looks like. Fear fell upon the people and they forsook their evil deeds. Many of today's Christians would call that "works" because they have distorted what repentance really entails, which involves forsaking our sins.

Acts 19
[13] Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth.
[14] And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so.
[15] And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye?
[16] And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded.
[17] And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.
[18] And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds.
[19] Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together, and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver.
[20] So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. (KJV)

You will have no contact with blood with water. you will only get wet

I had contact with blood when GOD baptized me into his death..

You want to replace that baptism with water. thats up to you

that's interesting since both of those predated arminius by a few centuries

Have you studied history much? Just asking
Of course they pre-date it. Arminius didn't just pull his ideas out of thin air. Their view of salvation is similar (God's part and your part). Apparently this thread has run out of usefulness, so I'm done.

A few years ago, God asked me a question. He said, "How were you saved?" I replied, "By grace". He said, "What saved you yesterday? "I thought for a moment, and said, "Grace". He said, "And what saves you today?" The answer was obvious. I am saved by grace every day. So are you.

The problem with emphasising faith is that it puts the attention on us. When we focus on the grace of God, we are looking at Jesus who loved us and gave Himself for us. Don't kid yourselves, no one has faith unless God gives it to us. Faith comes through hearing the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17). It is no coincidence when someone preaches the gospel to us. God arranges the time and place for us to hear the Word. Our part is to respond to the preaching of the gospel.

God is not obliged to save anyone. All have sinned and fall short of His glory. Yet His great love activates His grace and multitudes have been saved. Why some and not others is a mystery. That anyone is saved is a miracle.
I completely agree with you. I wonder how God talked to you.
