I've really been struggling with this concept for a couple weeks. It's brought me to tears of fear multiple times. I've always desired to serve God, and love it when He's used me, but now I'm afraid that maybe I need to do more works more often. I know that faith saves us, but do works naturally come from this, and if so, why does scripture address believers about it so often. Someone please help. These are some of the verses that confuse me:

-faith without deeds is dead
-Not everyone who says to Me, "Lord, Lord," shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.
-You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
-Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off.
-Parable of Talents
-Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
-those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men
-Our people must learn to devote themselves to doing what is good, in order to provide for urgent needs and not live unproductive lives.
-Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
