So I was doing a preschool workbook with my daughter and there was a page that asked

"Circle how you would feel" and then had a happy face and a sad face under four different situation pictures:

1. wheel falls off your bike 2. kid opening present 3. kid blowing out birthday candles 4. wave washing away your sand castle...


I asked her why did you circle all happy faces, thinking she didn't really understand the instructions

and she told me "I know mom, but Jesus tells us to be happy."


I'm like wow. our kids so often teach us so much more about simple faith then a thousand textbooks or sermons.
 
Aww!Kids definitely do teach us lessons. I'm certainly rethinking some feelings I've been upset over that weren't really worth it. Thanks for this!

aww so precious! :) We certainly can learn a lot from children! The Lord tells us to be more like for a very good reason :)
