[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"]What is the grace of God? Simply put, the grace of God is God blessing, healing and delivering you because of Jesus. The grace of God is His unearned, unmerited and undeserved favor toward you simply because of Jesus’ finished work at the cross.

Because God’s grace is based on Jesus’ work and not yours, the only way you fall from this grace is by believing that you can earn, merit and deserve it through your obedience and good works.

For example, you fall from grace when you say, “God has to answer my prayer because I have prayed long enough.” You also fall from grace when you think that because you are serving in church or you have kicked a bad habit, God is pleased with you and He has to bless you.

When you think that it is by your efforts and obedience that you receive God’s blessings, you become like the Pharisees. They believed that their law-keeping justified them and ensured that God would bless them. But the truth is that when you believe like them, “you have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace”. This means that you are cut off from Christ, who is your salvation, Redeemer, healer and provider. Christ has become of no effect to you!

My friend, surely you would want Christ to be of effect to you. People to whom Christ is of effect receive from Him the miracle they need. When He is of effect to them, He is their healer and they get healed. He is their wisdom and they are wise before man. He is their good success and they experience good success in all that they do.

Beloved, for Christ to always be of effect to you and to never nullify the grace of God operating in your life, just remember and believe that it is because of Christ and His finished work—His blood, His stripes, His death, His obedience—that you are justified, healed and blessed![/TD]

This is the best description I've read yet about what it means to "fall from grace" And one of the main reasons why I didn't see healthy progress or healing in my life or the lives of those I loved dearly.

We all believed sincerely that God wanted us to work and work hard and long and unceasingly. We had it all wrong. Jesus already did that and we needed to accept His finished work by faith for not only our salvation from God's wrath and judgment but for our daily lives right here on earth.

Seeing His promises in life comes from walking in His grace and not walking in my ability to follow the laws or the 10 Commandments. Today's church is busy preaching the 10 commandments and making the church weak as it falls from grace because it holds up the law as something stronger than the obedience of faith in the finished work of Christ.

Nonsense...all believers in the grace of God say that it is only grace that teaches us how to live godly in this present world. Titus 2:11.

The teaching of the grace of Christ is no more of a license to sin then the 2 witnesses in the book of Revelation are Daffy Duck and Donald Duck.

Let's hear from the horses mouth exactly what he does say about grace being a license to sin and is frequently being falsely accused of. Then these lies and slander can be exposed for what they really are. - again and again and again.

Of course we would have to throw out what Paul said about falling from grace too in order to believe that reverting back to the Law is falling from grace.

Galatians 5:4
You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.

We all realize that the teaching of the grace of Christ which is the gospel is against the D.I.Y. self-righteousness/holiness mindset and it will forever be against it as well which is why the gospel gets attacked by the religious mindset.

They attacked Christ in His earthly ministry and they do it today too - all in the name of God.

As usual heretic hunters continually "twist" what is said to make it appear to be something else. That's par for the course with the self-proclaimed heretic hunters.

I have heard Prince say from his own mouth numerous times that he is vehemently against sin so you are bearing false witness again and again and again.

Time to grow up in the Lord and stop this slander and malice.

Hey., thanks for your handy dandy ability to link posts Grace777!!!! I wish I could do this the way you do. This is a good video BTW.

So true., if we talk about grace, tons of people come out of the woodwork and want a balance of works and grace. So much so that another Gospel comes in it's place. Another reason why people fall from grace.

The grace of God has been removed just like he says and in it's place the law. I've seen it in my own life and times. One being put in place of another. No dwindling of grace but to actually transpose or to transfer from one to another. Excellent message. Thank you!

You are welcome...it bothers me to see the lies and slander being spoken about the gospel of the grace of Christ.

This video exposes the ones that are doing the real lying and "twisting"...it is such terrible and shameful behavior that some supposedly Christian people do - all in the name of their religious beliefs.

Paul talked about these kinds of people when they too slanderously reported that Paul was saying to sin all you want now because of grace.

[SUP]8 [/SUP] And why not say (as we are slanderously reported and as some claim that we say), "Let us do evil that good may come"? Their condemnation is just.

Hello ISIT, I can honestly say those are all my own words from my own time spent in daily life learning from the Holy Spirit while reading my Bible. I know it in my heart and it comes out through my fingers so I type quickly here.

I'm not sure why you want to say they are not my own words?? Seriously., not all roads lead to Joseph Prince. :o 2 years ago I was reading "Streams In The Desert" by Mrs.Cowman. I read that devotional for 3 years before going to this one. Now I'm reading "Destined To Reign" by J.Prince. I'm an 'equal opportunity devotional devotee'. I like certain preachers and teachers and writers at certain times in my life.

I was reading Oswald Chambers "My Utmost For His Highest" before that and mid stream changed to the easier English from the old English version. I'm 58 so I've enjoyed many different morning devotionals. I'm not going to apologize for liking certain writers and wanting to share their Biblical insight here. I joined CC for that very reason.

I don't think it is a fair reaction on your part to follow my posts around calling me names for liking different writers or preachers or teachers. I'm not going to be in agreement with you all the time and neither will a whole lot of people.,or you for that matter. That's why we are encouraged to share and edify one another. Can't you see the benefit of all of us doing this sort of thing?

When I don't find someone's writing interesting., I just don't join in the thread. I think you might find that enjoyable and edifying too as well as help keep stress down in life. Coming to CC to share the Lord is a good thing. Coming to CC to fight is not.

If we are sinless, We do not need grace, So a sinner can;t fall from grace.

Those who fall from grace are those who attempt to save themselves. they replace grace with law. works, self righteousness. And thus (if they have ever been exposed to true grace) fallen from the truth which could set them free (grace)

​I got the whole fall from grace thing confused at one point until getting a hold of what having the grace of God implemented in my life really meant. There is an actual working out this sort of faith that brings with it many promises and blessings. When I began giving credit to Jesus for anything right that I was able to do or think, stuff began to change in my life.

Now when I go out into the world, I'm aware that my protection and safety are found in the fact that Jesus is my salvation. The promises are mine because of Him and not because of my ability to be good enough.

I've watched the Lord progressively show me how to walk in grace. I'm still learning but this has been a major turning point. I go out the door and know the car is there because of Jesus. The job I go to is because of Jesus. The new job I just was offered in August and have been working since Sept. are because of Jesus.

There is nothing that I have that is apart from Jesus. God loves me because of Jesus giving His righteousness to me. I can go to the Lord without hesitation because of Jesus. The other Bible truths I've known most of my life come alive because of this grace truth about Jesus. Acknowledging Him has caused Him to direct my path in life. There is a cause and effect with grace.

But it's not based on us it's based on the righteous standing Jesus has given to us. Acknowledging Jesus has opened doors of faith that I never had before. He teaches by encouragements as well. Leaning on the unmerited favor of God in Christ is the Gospel. It begins when we are saved Eph.2:8-9
 [SUP]8 [/SUP]For it is by grace [God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God; [SUP]9 [/SUP]not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].

Then it continues the same way by grace through faith. I made the mistake once saved when I began moving into works through faith. I tried to gain favor and faith by working my way to Him. When I should have followed exactly the same as when I got saved. By GRACE through FAITH.

The Bible says once we were saved by grace through faith should we then try to work our way to God? NO. If we begin by grace through faith that is how we have to keep going. Or we do fall from grace.

No, you did not learn to speak evil of God's commandments from the Holy Spirit. Just as you did not learn to be silent when it comes to speaking out against sinful behavior from the Holy Spirit. Those things come from the spirit of this world, which is the same spirit working in many deceivers like Joseph Prince.

It is of no secret to me who the ones are who support and constantly post Joseph Prince teachings on this site, and you are also among that same group. I would urge all of you to repent of your sins and stop following the false doctrines of worldly preachers like Joseph Prince who still walk after the lusts of the flesh and sin. His doctrine is pleasing to the sinful masses because he does not speak out against sinful behavior, but rather they speak evil of God's laws and commands, even the teachings and sayings of Jesus Christ.

Joseph Prince and his followers are a fulfilling of prophecy about the falling away from the faith, and that man of lawlessness being revealed "in them." Joseph Prince and his followers teach "Antinomianism"
Antinomianism is the teaching that under The Gospel, the moral law is of no use, nor are Christians obligated to keep it. Antinomianism or legal irresponsibility is an extreme version of justification by faith alone.

That teaching is called "lawlessness" and that is what the Holy Spirit warned of concerning the falling away from the faith.

2 Thessalonians 2:3
Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin (lawlessness) be revealed, the son of perdition;

If you follow the false teachings of preachers like Joseph Prince you also are going to follow the broad path that leads to perdition, or destruction.
