There are a lot of false teachings in the world today. When I read or hear such teachings, I asked, ‘Have they not read the Word of GOD”. I simply know the WORD OF GOD must be fulfilled. For it is written, the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own likings, and will turn away from listening to the Truth and wander into myths (2 Timothy 4:3-4).”
Today, you will hear some preachers of the Word, preaching that when you have accepted JESUS CHRIST as your LORD and SAVIOR and you live a life of sin (stealing, lying, gossiping, selfishness, hatred, fornication, adultery, homosexuality, idolatry etc) you are save. No matter the evil life you live because you have accepted JESUS CHRIST as your LORD, you are save. This is false.
Haven’t they read what JESUS CHRIST the SAVIOR HIMSELF said?
Let us look at what JESUS said concerning this issue. This will lead us to the parable of the “Sower”. Read from Luke 8:5-15.
“The seed that fell on the rock are those who, when they hear the Word, receive it with joy; but these have no root, they believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away”. These clearly show us that this people were believers but because of temptation they were unable to hold on to their faith in GOD so they fall away.
JESUS CHRIST said, “I am the True Vine, and my Father is the Vinedresser. Every branch of Mine that bears no fruit, He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit (John 15:1-3). I am the Vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man does not abide in Me, he is cast forth as a branch and withers; and the branches are gathered, thrown into fire and burned (John 15:5-6).”
And the only way you can bear fruit is to live in the WORD OF GOD. GOD does nothing without HIS WORD. HE works through HIS WORD by HIS SPIRIT. Those who have accepted CHRIST and are not doing the WORD of GOD in your life; are the branches which JESUS said that they will be cast forth and withered and gathered and thrown into fire and burned.
For it is written, “You may say, ‘Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.’ That is true. They were broken off because of their unbelief, but you stand fast only through faith. So do not become proud, but stand in awe. For if GOD did not spear the natural branches, neither will HE spare you (Romans 11:19-21).”
If you say you are a Christian and you are living a life of sin, please repent now from your evil ways of life and live your life in the WORD OF GOD. Live for JESUS or else, what JESUS said in John 15:1-3 and John 15:5-6 will happen to you.
Again, those who preach such messages haven’t they read where the HOLY SPIRIT says, “Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that you may do the Will of GOD and receive what is promised. ‘For yet a little while, and the coming One shall come and shall not tarry; but my righteous one shall live by Faith, and if he shrinks back, my soul has no pleasure in him. But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and keep their souls (Hebrew 10:35-39).’ ”
Again, haven’t they read where it is written, “Now the works of the flesh are plain: fornication, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, anger, selfishness, dissension, party spirit, envy, drunkenness, carousing, lying, adultery and the like. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of GOD (Galatians 5:19).”
“ Now I would remind you, brethren, in what terms I preach to you the gospel, which you received, in which you stand, by which you are saved, if you hold it fast-unless you believed in vain (1 Corinthians 15:1-3).”
My dear, do not be deceived by whosoever, the WORD OF GOD is the only Truth. If you are living a life sin, repent now from your heart and live for JESUS. Do the WORD OF GOD in your daily life. Live the WORD. For it is written, “But be doers of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves (James 1:22).”
JESUS CHRIST and HIS WORD are ONE.
Thanks be to GOD ALMIGHTY for ever and ever in JESUS’ NAME.
JESUS IS LORD OF ALL.
Thanks.
