I love that show. Doug does some stupid but hilarious things. I'm pretty sure your hubby is referring to you being like Carrie. Lol

Ya Im pretty sure he is too.lol He's southern,Im Canadian by birth but moved south. I think he's hinting Im slightly high strung. lol And a lot more straight forward than he is.

I caught it while flipping channels a few nights ago and watched a few minutes of it. I didn't even know it was his show. I just thought he was on some show, then I noticed he was in every scene... Anyway, it wasn't really that funny. :(

My choice would be:

Edith and Archie Bunker...they turned the old father, mother and 2 kids in the burbs
upside down. Not everything in the portrayed gilded in gold tv family real life. It
was an ideal while while All In the Family was the antithesis. I'm not saying one was
better than the other but at least it brought honesty to the screen.

Reality as well, like hearing the toilet bowl flush.
there were lots of "firsts" on that show.
