I am burnt out on acronyms because they are used so much and so ludicrously in video games. Either the good guy organization or the bad guy organization, or sometimes both, will have acronyms that spell out words, and they are almost always stretching the acronym a lot. You can tell somebody really, really, really wanted very badly to make the name of this organization spell that word.

I did see one acronym I liked. It was in an xkcd comic.
