Favorite Anime + Christian Values in TV

This series doesn't seem to be anime, nor does most anime seem to be child oriented.

The original Superbook from the '80s was anime. I loved it as a preschooler, along with Flying House.

I love Black Clover, ironically the MC is Demon-Possessed or have the power of a Demon or something of that sort.

I'm a part of the prototype anime fandom generation, back when private video rental stores had small anime sections on VHS and laserdisc, before Blockbuster Video came along and put those mom & pop stores out of business. Sometimes we'd watch Nth generation VHS copies of raw episodes recorded off of Japanese TV, following along with an episode synopsis guide form magazines like Protoculture Addicts and Animag, or printed from a file downloaded from a BBS.

That said, one of my favorites is Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water. It's based off of Jules Verne's 2000 Leagues Under the Sea, but with a steampunk/space opera twist and gets bigger and bigger. It involves a little bit of stuff like "The Bible says that this happened, but this is what actually happened" in order to further plot developments, like Adam &Eve being created by offworlders, etc. It's nothing really blasphemous and doesn't get annoying and grotesque like Gainax's next series, Evangelion. Nadia is way better than Eva.

I remember way back when Kiki's Delivery Service was first introduced to the USA, and Christian watchdog groups were upset about a story involvining a witch. I'd already seen the movie many times via a fansub VHS I owned. The whole moral to the story is to use the talents that God gives us, lest they go to waste. I assume those Christians opposed to this movie hadn't even watched it to know the plot. As with all of us, God wants us to use the talents of tomato - animes apk tv box he has given us to bless others and to not stagnate. In the movie, Kiki learns this lesson and her mentor even tells her such.

I really liked Made in Abyss, I noticed themes of hope, redemption, and joy amongst hard times. Though not Christian at all, there are great character traits among the characters that one can learn from. It is mostly pure regarding what it shows, and what it does show is not glorified or fan servicey. Everything has a purpose.

I liked Somali and the Forest Spirit, its very wholesome, its about a forest golum that finds a child and fathers it. Its got heart touching moments.

I liked wonder egg priority, it explores trauma and its effect on lives, along with this it shows help extended towrds those who faced trauma. The art is very pretty and over all it was interesting.

HxH was really good too lol, I loved gon and killua, they were super cute! I didnt love ant season, if you watched that. I mostly liked the beginning, still watched all of it. Hisoka was a weirdo!

Since you liked HxH for some reason I want to recommend mashel, its about a boy who cant do magic and hes stuck in a school full of wizards

Freiren? Has blown up lately. Its really good. It shows the value of human life and getting to know those close to you, it also highlights the grieving process and I would summarize it so far as "you dont realize how much youll miss someone until they're gone"

I've only watched anime for a season and it's been a while since I thought to view it again, but my fondest memories are Girls Und Panzer, Kinos Journey, Watamote, Youjo Senki, and a couple the names of which my memory slipped away from: one was about two girls riding this buggy, one blonde haired & one black haired, through a post-apocalyptic multi-layered industrialized world. The other was about this mystical fox girl becoming the simple housewife of this office dude who's very stressed out from his life.

Oh, I think my favorite anime of all time is Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, but I haven't seen it since I was like 5.
