Third part of the message about “fear of Jesus“:
Jesus imparts His fear in us so that we don’t pass over the evil, but we veer away from it. See how the iniquity is purged: when we use of mercy and truth towards people around us. People need to know better the truth right away. Don’t slip your mind to keep on getting along to knowing Jesus better. After all, it is this ken that set us free (John 8.32) and prolong our days:
At first place, to shorten the years (it’s not just “days”) of the wicked looks like being a curse. Yet, I suggest recalling that the wicked only carry out turpitude. Why we crave for living many years if we don’t accomplish any good? Why do we yearn that a relative may live, if we just regard them as died (we don’t have time to them)? Or worst: we impair them with our disregard or they come in for a lot of criticism from us.
When we fear Jesus, our days (and not years) will be protracted. This doesn’t mean that we will have more years of life, but that will live each day (and not simply passing through these days only ruing predicaments, illness, despise, etc.). Each day of ours will be especial.
So, if you ache for a glorious extended weekend, don’t try to circumvent the commandments of Jesus: take them earnestly.
