Hi Christian Chat

Fear seems to have come to me this week . I had a problem with my aunt wanting me to be a go between , I suffered too much and worried about losing my home

Usually I have more faith than this and I pray that my closeness to Jesus will return

And for all of you here Amen

Yes, I'll pray. When I have moments of fear or anxiety I just remember the Lord wants us to trust in Him totally. No matter how things turn out, your relationship with Him is the most important thing you have. God bless.

What a great fear that must be.
My heart goes out to you.

I just prayed and May our all powerful God not only bring you peace that passes all understanding, but also save your precious home.

thank you all so much that really helped !

Monday I have to visit my addict brother , that no other relatives will speak to
apart from a couple of them once a year

im going with a family friend

my family are beating me up emotionally
because I don't want to pass on messages and gifts from them

I feel that is wrong, that they should speak to him themselves
or at least send a letter
and that it interferes with the relationship between me and my brother
to have this triangulation going on

this is really really really hard !

Hello Lucia. Sorry to hear about your situation. I know of someone who has serious problem with alcohol. Unfortunately, he can't cope with reality. Im not judging anyone. He lacks faith. Nothing I can do for him. He's not willing to help himself.
Psalm chapter 56
When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. The Lord is my light and salvation, whom shall I fear.
Proverbs chapter 25
A man without self control is like city broken into and left without walls.
2 Timothy chapter 1:7
For God gave us a Spirit not of fear but of power and love and self control.
Romans chapter 13:12
The night is far gone. The day is at hand. So then let us cast off works of darkness, and put on armour of light.

Since Satan abhors light and avoid it's presence and since he can't coventtionally steal the light against ones will, his efforts and temptations are designed to entice his targets to voluntary yield it up that he might more freely and effectively carry forth his destruction plans.
Its disobedience. Its resisting to participate in the evil works of darkness. Some Christians struggle with lack of faith is that we follow our perception of what is true rather than what we know to be faith.
Proverbs, Don't lean on your own understanding, but trust God.
Satan and evil spirits entice us through the world and our senses. These things all afflict us, and cause us to struggle with faith.
Thomas was a disciple of Jesus. When Jesus resurrection. He wouldn't believe them until he saw Jesus. Jesus accommodatied Thomas lack of faith by appearung to him and showing him nail prints on his hands, he was crucified.
Blessed are those who have not seen me and believe. Again, I'm not judging anyone. Peace.
