I am a full hearted believer and christian, but i moved a couple years ago (7 years) and I haven't found a church that fills what I looking for. There is an AOG on the main route of here as well as a Parker Hill. I had an experience with an A.O.G. that I kind of can not really look back on since it was that great of a experience and it was a bit traumatic for myself and others my family. On the other hand I feel like I am alone and just don't feel like myself anymore. I feel that I have lost a bunch of close friends from when I moved it took a couple two or three years after I moved when I lost them over creative differences. But I just feel like I am lost, and in search still for something that I feel like I haven't lost...

This was a bit confusing of a post. "i have Lost them over creative differences"... "i feel like i am lost, and in search still for something that i feel like i haven't lost".
Is this a venting post? A request for advice? I'm not getting what you're after.

Milo, the best friend you will EVER have is Jesus!! As long as you have Jesus, you are not alone. I'm not sure what you mean by "lost them by creative differences." Keep searching for God and you will find him. :)

Dear Brother,

You are not alone, God is with you. Where ever u might be.. Our Lord will be there for you, who is already there before u reached there. So, you dont need to worry that you are alone. One thing you should understand that, from the day we came out from our mother's womb, there will be lots of people in our life will come and go.. your parents might be with you till your marriage, and your spouse will come in half, and your children.. your friends, everyone else in the world may come in the middle of your life and leave you alone in the middle. But God will be with you forever and ever. Have faith in Him, He will never leave you. Live like he lived in this world.

You cant expect the same type of home church everywhere we move in this world. But we have to accept the changes in the new environment and need to adapt ourselves without losing our core principles in our faith. God is in you. You are the temple of God.. God doesnt stay in a building. Search for some good church with proper worship (whatever the denomination or church name it might be). If not satisfied, listen to sermons on youtube for your spiritual growth, study bible everyday. have fellowship in the local church. Be strong in your faith. God will never leave you.

God bless.

I'm at lost for words. My unsolicited advice (because i don't know if you're asking for one) is try not to think much of your loneliness or not focus on that much because you will feel more lonelier than ever. I have experienced the same thing. It was a bad habit of mine to isolate myself and drift away from friends. If my case is not like with yours, I suggest please examine yourself. Friends won't just drift away from you without good reason. There might be something they saw on you that you don't believe them. Or whatever that creative differences that you've mentioned, are they worth than your friends to just let them slipped away? Then, if the case was beyond your control. Grieve if you must but do your best to move on. God's love is better than friend's.

I'll pray you will overcome because loneliness is self-suicidal.

Milothethird,

Hey man you are right you have not lost God. God has not lost you he is possibly testing your faith and wanting you to not feel like your old self. Be patient a new church will find you and you will find new friends threw Christ. And I don't know what happen with your close friends but I am guessing they just got busy with their lives because I have friends that have done the same thing including me to them. It happens its rough but sometimes God steers us in a new direction to find new people that may change your life or need you to change theirs only God knows. Its his plan man just roll with it and pray for guidance and the wisdom to see his plan.
