Feeling Afraid

today i am feeling spiritually afraid and sad,i will be going for a monastary chapel visit,i feel like sitting up back to hide as much as i can,i tink i am feeling afraid cause of how imperfect i am and how some days get all spiritually mixed up for me.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, Just the fact you are afraid of being inpure means you're on the right track. The fact is at one point or another we all feel dirty inside but they are of course lies from the enemy. The second we accepted christ we were made pure. That is why as long as we are trying to be christ like we do not need to fear sin anymore because jesus died in our place so his love and forgiveness overpowered sin. Have courage my friend God is whispering in your ear right now saying ( I am here) we are never alone we have a friend who gives us strength when we ask.

Yes i love ellie, she has a wonderfull gift of words. I think the holy spirit really uses her when she talks. She always has something nice to say and i have never heard her say even one negitive word to anyone she truly is an angel.

Fear is not from God but it comes from the enemy who is trying to bring you down because you are in Christ and he wants you to be ineffective. Though I don't know you in person but just reading all your comments and your posts shows that you have a wonderful heart to uplift people and just by doing that it encourages people and puts a smile on their face. It puts a smile on my face

God knows your heart and he knows what you are feeling and thinking. He loves you and he knows your imperfections. All of us have our days of feeling imperfect and spiritually mixed up as well, but we can thank our Father in heaven, who is always there for us to lean on and rest. With all our imperfections, our Father in heaven looks at us with love and his arms are always opened wide for us to fall into them to feel comfort and security.

When I feel like that some days, I confess with my mouth who I am in Christ
"I have no fear because Christ is with me"
"I am more than a conqueror in Christ"
"Christ loves me thats why he died for me"
"I am sealed by the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption"
etc

Father God in heaven, I lift Jeff up to you in prayer and I ask that you touch him Lord. Surround him with your arms and comfort him and take away fear. Replace fear with the tangible wonderful presence of your love. Take away spiritual confusion and give him a clear vision for his life. Make his feet stand firm in you Lord and may he not waver to the left or to the right but he will walk that straight path that you have already prepared for him. Put a hedge around him and protect his heart, mind, body and spirit. In Jesus name, amen

I know you confess your sins, and so you tell the enemy to hush! in Jesus' Name!
Ignore his lies, and be sure you don't tell yourself any lies, too.
None of us deserve God's love and grace and mercy, yet He willingly gives us all that, and more in Christ.
I know you know this, but sometimes we just need to remember who we are in Jesus.

You know, probably each person you visit at the monastery has moments just like this one, where they don't feel "good enough".
The plain fact is, we're not good enough in the flesh, but in the Holy Spirit, we are in the Beloved, and we are the beloved! ♥

Abba, please lift our Jeffrey Mark's spirit, and renew his mind in Christ Jesus.
Let him know, in no uncertain terms, just who he is because of Who Jesus is.
Send the Comforter to him so he can relax, and enjoy this visit. Bless him there, and show him what a blessing he is to everyone he sees.
Thank You, Lord of all, for allowing us to know him, and for all the wonderful work You prepared long ago, in perfect faithfulness, for Jeffrey to walk in.
