All I have been feelling around my family is stress and it's really not healthy for me with my fainting spells I have.

I fell like I am the only one being told to do things around the house.I'll be in my room or on the couch*and*my mom or dad will ask my to do something when there standing right next to the dryer or what ever else they are telling me to do. I am "talked to" if the house is a mess when family friends or my brother's and sister's friends so I clean up after them. Just so I won't have to even worry.Because,I try to watch what I say to everone in my family.I don't think I should have to do that, there my family.I just want to feel like it's a family and not just 6 people living together. When ever I try to tell my mom I'm doing most of the work it's like I get more just for saying that... *

Philippians 2:14-15

14Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe.;)

We usually tend to pay closer attention to the things that happen to us. If you are spending face time with your family (not texting, disconnected with an ipod, etc.) you might see that others are also taking orders. Here's a great way to relieve some of that stress: Look for things that need to be done and do them before having to be told. Not just halfway or only for a time or two. You are an adult now and expected to take on more responsibility. It might take awhile for everyone to catch on but if you step up to the plate with a new outlook and approach You will probably notice a newfound respect. I know when my own 17 yr. old daughter practices this attitude on me, I often do not ask her to do things because I feel that she has done enough. I hope this works for you, but you will never know if you don't try it. If it doesn't turn out the way you hope just keep in mind that your attitude is your choice. If you feel that you are doing everything within your power to keep the peace then you can be at ease. Only you can be the judge of that. I"ll pray that things get better for you.

I agree with choZn. The first thing you need to do is try to determine if you are really being picked on, or if that is just your perception. If you decide that you are indeed being treated unfairly, you can try to approach your parents in a mature and conciliatory manner. Proverbs 15, verse 1, says "A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger." If you approach your parents respectfully, I believe that they will most likely treat you with respect. A frank discussion of the situation (in love) might help to bring about a resolution.

If you still believe that you are being treated unfairly, take heart. You probably won't be living under their roof all that much longer. But while you are, you should do your best to comply with their wishes. And pray that God will lighten your burden, both physical and spiritual, so that you can reflect His love to all your family members. You are fortunate to be saved at your age. That is something that no-one can take away from you.

God bless you in your pursuit of peace.
