What did you get from the after Halloween half price sale? Anything good? Anything you'd care to share with us?

Don't worry, I don't mean share it physically. I mean, anything you want to gloat about?

I had some leftover candy from handing it out at the door. Had fewer than a hundred visitors instead of the expected few hundred. I donate the leftover to a thrift shop where my wife volunteers.

That's a lesson I learned from Arlo and Janis comic strip. Always get candy you like. Then the leftovers will not be a problem.

Same lesson applies to food you bring to a church dinner.

I did do that, and helped myself to it while I was handing it out... but didn't want to eat all that leftover so wanted to get it out of the house.
