This flame that burns
Within my heart
Cannot be quelched
With water or soil.
It remains unharmed,
Untouched by all things
Living or immortal.
Like a dry wind,
The flame is fanned
Into raging fires
Day by day.
Life of love
In riddles or rhymes
Is beyond all words
For endless times.
Echoing through my soul
From my Father divine.
