no college and university are like the same other than college is easier than university.
 
you go to university to become a doctor
you go to college to become a ...? umm.... I dunno something else, lol. mechanic is trade school.
 
maybe its just pretty much the same ours is like this
age 4 you start school and go into reception at infant school which generally finishes at the end of year two so you're around 6/7 years then. then you go into junior school from year 3 at age 7/8 until youre 10/11 which is year 6. then you go to senior school from year 7 which is 11/12 until you're in year 11 at 15/16 years old. year 10 and 11 between the ages of 14 to 16 is when you do your GCSE exams so basically once youve done that you can decide what you want to do which is usually college or sixth form which is either one or two years. And then some people go on to university from 18 years and onwards
 
ohhhh wow totally different. 4-6 kindergarden 6-12/13 elementary school grades 1-8 than 13/14-18 is high school grades 9-12 than you go to college or university.
 
so when youre sixteen its compulsory for you to carry on with school? gosh im glad i didnt have to do that
 
what!? you don't have to go past 16? :O yea we have to go to 18. or until we finish grade 12, they used to have grade 13 :S
