I asked for forgiveness and repentance from you

In this puzzle a missing peace

I'm on a trail but need your path

Please pray for me. I have struggles, and even though I have asked for forgiveness and repentance I'm still having a hard time reconnecting with the lord. I have failed and am confused on how I can be back in his good grace. My confusion is causing me to be angry at myself for not being able to understand. My pastor is retiring and church is going through a hard time. Its a small church and I feel like I have no one to talk to so I cant try to figure out what I must do. I have been trying to have the lord to show me what to do but Im only getting more confused. I know I'm missing something I just don't know what. Please pray , thank you

Hang in there brother. You have learned to ask of God. Now perhaps God is teaching you how to seek. He is still a near and present help and you remain under His care.
Jacob had to wrestle all night with God one time to secure a blessing. God is worth anything it may take to get to Him, and much more.

God always has purpose in what He does. And He is always worthy to be worshipped. When I don't understand, I worship. Sooner or later He comes to receive it.

I wonder if you are trusting and believing that when you confess your sin, He is faithful and just to forgive you and to cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

Your poem speaks directly to the heart of many who have experienced something similar. For me there was no quick answer and no easy fix. Sometimes all you can do is let go, give it to him and wait. This is difficult but we need to remember, He has not abandoned us and gives us what we need, even difficulties.

If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is couching at the door; its desire is for you, but you must master it.

I'm still struggling. I'm so lost. I feel lost and empty. I continue to stay in his word and in prayer. I feel like I'm not being heard as well as not being led. I feel broken and down. Something is definitely wrong.

Don't give up brother. Luke 18:1...Men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
I know your struggle seems great but God has not abandoned you. He is proving you. In the unseen spiritual world there is a battle going on. It might be helpful to read Ephesians 6:10 and following. God will see you through this and reveal Himself soon.

Brother, I know exactly what you are going through. I didn't have anyone to come alongside of me and encourage me through it. So if you like, I'll be glad to be available for you.
A couple of things to know and are important to keep reminding yourself of:
1. God loves you and nothing will separate you from that love.
2. God is good so whatever He leads you into has a very desirable end.

Remembering these 2 truths allowed me to be sustained in the desert. And that's where you are. And that's the place where God whittles away everything we depend on that isn't Him. It isn't easy but very necessary and there is no other way. Jesus spent time in the desert. So did Moses. And so do we.
Read the passage in Ephesians 6. It's time to armor up.

If we ask Him for forgiveness, He forgives us. More than that we don't believe what He has said!

Also if the sin is intentional (all sins are!!!) don't do it again! If our heart is planning on doing the sin again, I don't think He forgives.

My problem is that my heart isn't sensitive to know all the time how I have sinned, that is my conscience is too clear. My wish is to never offend Him in the least! Notice the word "wish". You are way ahead of me on that!

Every sin counts. It’s not that He understands and sweeps it under the rug.

He is merciful, and yes we agree, ask the Holy Spirit to help me have a sensitive conscience. I think he wants me eventually be as perfect as I can be in this life. He and I have the same goal!

Well I never said it's swept under the rug....just that it was an unknowingly sin and he understands that. But no it does not get swept under the carpet. I pray we both become more sensitive to the holy spirit ☺️
