Right. This is the crux of the need for the letter to the Galatians --- "some men came down from Judea and were teaching the brothers" certain things which caused the new believers to be removed from the gospel of grace of Christ unto another gospel, a gospel that was perverted according to Gal 1:7.

Paul traveled to various areas and taught about the grace of God to all who would hear. Then "some men" would follow Paul and teach contrary to the grace of God.

Paul wrote the letter to the church at Galatia because that is exactly what happened there.

And it can still happen in our day and time. That is why we need the correction of Galatians. It gets us back on track and in sync with the doctrine written in Romans.
and the quote your commenting on, is acts 15, not only was paul at this meeting.

it is call the jewish council. meaning more that one of the elected members were there.

and from them two verses you could ask in a logical or worldly thinking. (why no law was give to a gentile, )

but the there was not 70 ad marked in the bible either, or the apostles being killed or martyred from non christian jews.

you have no crux or authority, if you are still in the flesh.

and since you expect me to use some human logic to understand your quote.

if your still following law, then you better ask, why paul to write gal 5 1-4 and v 18

18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.Galatians 5: Christ Has Set Us Free
Corinthians reproves our behavior if we do not comprehend our having died with Christ and we continue under the bondage of sin.(your quote)

you mean your still going to die, the punishment of sin. because your rejected grace a gift , in favour to walk as a non christian jew. again there were converted to christian teachings, not jewish teachings. but give your quote, that is already evident.

21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.29 And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's offspring, heirs according to promise.

again i say.
you have no crux or authority, if you are still in the flesh.
and if your still in the flesh then paul was correct when he said

4 You are severed from Christ, you who would be justified by the law; you have fallen away from grace.

Death in Adam, Life in Christ , romans 5
12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned---13 for sin indeed was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not counted where there is no law.14 Yet death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those whose sinning was not like the transgression of Adam, who was a type of the one who was to come.
15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man's trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man's sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.17 For if, because of one man's trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.
18 Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men, so one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men.19 For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.20 Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more,21 so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness(gal 2 quote) leading to eternal life through

did you get rightiousness through the law.
this would take us to 2016 and beyound

21 I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness were through the law, then Christ died for no purpose.

if your going to answer , this ,give quotes , and prove your stand, not waffle, ie prove you have a law, that you can repent from it.

i have already given many quote in regard to the spiritual.

The devil is always working to add to the Gospel---- or take away from it...

so what happened after the resurrection, in your own words the devil, already knows what happened after the resurrection, how come you dont.

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.12 He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.13 He flees because he is a hired hand and cares nothing for the sheep.14 I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,15 just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.17 For this reason the Father loves me, because I lay down my life that I may take it up again.18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down, and I have authority to take it up again. This charge I have received from my Father."John 10: I Am the Good Shepherd

authority, to die and take it back.
so what happened, when he took his life back from the dead, if death is the punishment of sin. then even sin could not hold jesus in the grave. you will not need to ask the devil. he uses quote like you just made. etc

Hi royalscot,

There appears to be a miscommunication between us and we seem to be talking past each other. We're addressing two different subjects.

In post #115 I brought up an outline of the letters to the churches at Rome, Corinth, Galatia, Ephesus, Philippi, Colosse, and Thessalonica, the arrangement of the letters to the churches as they are contained in our Bibles, and their purpose (which is to mature the believer from babe in Christ to fully functioning believer in God the Father and in the Lord Jesus Christ).

Your reply in post #129 addresses issues concerning the law. I am not advocating that we live according to the law.

My point in post #115 was to set forth the purpose of the letters written by Paul to the churches (which is to provide doctrine, reproof, and correction).

He hasn't been here in a few days yet his thread which was said to be the problem is still being posted on... Yeah

I was just surprised that he was banned I mean he has been on here for a couple of years and has stirred the pot many times yet was not banned so he must have really crossed the line somewhere

The line crossed was probably in persisting to present his sinless perfection...

I noticed he was banned a couple of days ago.

God looked at creation and saw that it was good, but even Jesus rejected being called "good."

The interesting thing is that Jesus was the only one who was actually good but he rejected it not because he wasn't good but because he was setting an example. But I wonder how many understood that when he said this

Jesus always pointed back to the Father :) Only God is good :)

We live in a fallen world. We are all affected/corrupted by sin
