I agree, You are right; it should be counted as 1. I revised my list thanks to you.

The rapture is not a resurrection. It does follow the resurrection. WE WHO ARE ALIVE shall be caught up. People whose bodies were never buried are caught up! You can't raise something never buried nor entombed.

Nothing was promised to anyone. No payer is mentioned. For could mean "in hope of" or "in honor of" -- the expression is ambiguous. The only verb is an imperative command. Nothing was promised. Suppose someone tells you he wants fish. You reply, "For fish, go drop your line in the water," -- that is no promise of anything.

Glad you enjoyed the video. And thanks for the improvement of my rapture count.

I see your amended list and therefore I do qualify as the winner even if you discount Isaiah and count the First Resurrection, which is the catching up of the church.

In hope of, or in honor of $64,000 this challenge was indeed set forth. The Payer is either you yourself as it was your hand that wrote the challenge and the reward, or assuming you work for Revlon then they are the Payer and you the Intermediary in which case therefore tell Revlon to make good on their word.

Consider that if I am the winner I have all ready promised by my word to loose you of the sum of $64,000 on two conditions; to make a small payment, the sum of which is to your discretion, to CC.com on my behalf, and a small sum to give in secret to a neighbor in plight. Therefore also your word, or the word of Revlon, can also be fulfilled without taking a mortgage out on house or soul.

Will you settle for a tube of lipstick?
Sorry, I didn't mean to insult you;
I know you are too strict to wear sinful lipstick.

Sorry to tell you this. But would you believe that a Revlon exec just phoned me & told me you were disqualified for claiming "the 2 Witnessesin Revelation" ?

There were no "Witnessesin" raptured, nor any "Witnessin Revelation." In fact scripture does not mention any "witnessin," though the KJV may possibly mention oxen.

Do not expect the tube of lipstick.

But in case I can persuade them, which color do you want ? -- I mean since obviously you are too holy to wear lipstick, you may want to go to sinful places & write Bible verses on mirrors in the lady's room with it.

I would counsel your benefactor to re-examine their accusation as I have not mentioned a "Witnessesin". Here is my submission again for you:

For specific people being "raptured" this is the list of 9 I found. In terms of the resurrections, I am not sure if they could be considerred raptures or if maybe the first resurrection could be considerred a rapture since the saints are to reign with Jesus 1,000 years, but the second seems to me is more catch-all being Judgement Day and all. So I added the first resurrection here as the 10th with a little asterisk (*).

As far as the money goes, lol you really should never wager more than you're willing to lose, even in jest. However, I cannot collect the money, nor am I terribly concerned over it. For myself I am just curious how I rank in the challenge and hope for a reply. If I win just give a lil bit to CC.com on my behalf as I cannot do online money stuff at all, and give a little bit in secret to someone in your area that is in need.

1. Enoch (you kinda gave this to us as a freebie, but nonetheless Genesis 5:18-24)
2. Elijah (2 Kings 2)
3. Isaiah (Isaiah 6)
4. Ezekiel (Ezekiel 8)
5. Jesus (Luke 24 or any of the last chapter of four gospels)
6. Phillip (Acts 8)
7. Paul (2 Corinthians 12)
8. Apostle John (Revelation 4:1)
9. Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:11-12)
10. First Resurrection (Revelation 20:4-6)*

In regards to your insults; is it because your word is broken that you insult me? Behold, you have laid a snare and caught yourself within it. I offer you a hand out of your own pit, give a little to CC.com and secretly give a little to a needy neighbor in your locale to keep your word and be of good cheer.

Elijah, Enoch, as opposed to Phillip(translated but not gone) but those are 2 that come immediately to mind.

My neighbor who goes to my church went to New York City for Business.
He claims he rode in a Taxi cab in NYC and the driver's name was Enoch.
Who knows????? Since he didn't die it's possible?

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

There is no resurrection
HAPPENING in rev 20.
Why do people keep seeing one????
Bizarre indeed

As I recall there are 9 Raptures in the Bible.

Can you name them?

By rapture I mean a catching up as in 1 Thes 4:17 (harpagēsometha = rapiemur = we shall be raptured (caught up).

You might say that Jacob was in rapture when he first saw Rachel, a figurative rapture, which is the common way of using the term in non-theological English ("I am in rapture"), as caught up in delight. But that is not the topic here.

And so if there is a rapture, are you going to be waiting on top of your roof, waiting for the cloud? You know that you wouldn't be able to use the restroom or take a bath at all,or else, you might missed your flight.

One certainly can imagine funny or interesting scenarios accompanying the rapture. It is good to have a sense of humor. A cheerful heart does good like a medicine.

I think the topic was edifying, as it did provoke a discussion of what raptures are in the Bible. The Rapture is my blessed hope. Of course the details are worked out by the blessed Savior. He is coming again, that where He is there we may be also. He wants our company!

well I still didn't get my 64,000 dollars.

Lol well you did not complete the challenge Kerry.

Though this reminds me. Since you are a hard dealer Atwood, here's another proposal. I will even wave the donation to CC.com. Still, go give a little money in secret to one of your neighbors. Don't have to be tonight or nothing, and obviously it doesn't have to be $64,000. This is how you should do it. Write on the envelope or whatever you put the money in "Praise God, Praise Jesus" and then deliver the money at a secret time when no one is watching. Try it, it is worth the while. Even though I am challenge winner I shall do the same, and thus we can say that the challenge and the reward of the challenge is satisfied.

I will loose a little bit of my secret treasure to you all, please do not let me be throwing my pearls before swine. I had done this a month a go, but not over vain gambling. I was walking during the day and saw a home with a wheelchair out front and it just stuck in my mind. So after some days praying on the matter. I took some of the money I have been saving from selling my things and delivered it at night in secret to this person whom I have never even met with the note simply saying "Praise the name of the Lord, Praise Jesus". I have done other things like this, but I'm not going to loose all my secret treasures to you all for then they would not be secret lol. Before the Resurrection, first we must spread the word about God and Jesus.

BINGO!

Of course Paul & John may have been raptured only in vision.

Apply to Revlon for your $640,000 (allowing for 10 fold inflation since 1956) -- cokes were a nickel in those days!
Ezekiel yes, I see a Rapture there. Thanks much to GraceTFIC for educating me on that one.
Brother Atwood, i am returning the prize of $64,000,.......

Please give this to brother GodIsSalvation, he is the brother who educated you "on that one" and the prize is rightfully his. Oh yeah, about the lipstick,....... it would have been of no use to me anyway, it simply just wasn't my color, and didn't match my blouse or my nails.
