I'm surprised no Americans have brought this up , maybe it's not big news over the pond ? Donald is suing the BBC because they edited a speech of his and made it look as if he was inciting violence . They really actually did that . I hope he wins . I'm so sure that this is not the first time the BBC has done this bit to people who didn't have the money to sue them . Shameful behaviour .

Yes i did see it Suze and i'm glad you're seeing these things yourself too.
BBC said that it apologized but Trump wants to sue them anyway and he makes a good point. Empty apologies for show from certain people or groups are meaningless. Make them pay money so they might learn a bit next time !

The BBC may have edited the speech, but if you listen to the whole thing it's even more damning. It was a paranoid diatribe about how the country was "under attack" and the election was stolen. Then he said you gotta fight like like hell; if you don't fight you won't have a country. Things were peaceful until Mike Pence went ahead and certified the election; typical of the Donald and his minions. When they don't get their way they throw a temper tantrum. The only evidence uncovered concerning election fraud was actually on the part of Donald and his cronies. He's still facing state charges in Georgia for trying to get them to "find him votes."

It's interesting that in his speech he said "and I'll be there with you," but he didn't go with them. He took cover in a safe place and waited three hours before he even made a statement. Pretty cowardly if you ask me.

lol, so, par for the course with him; always cuts off his nose to spite his face.

The British people fund the BBC through something called a TV licence , part of its remit is , that it has to b politically impartial . It was definitely in the wrong to do this and it needs to b held accountable for its actions . I'm not a Donald fan but , if something is wrong then it's wrong , regardless of whether we like or dislike the person that has been wronged . How many other times has the BBC done this kind of thing without being held to account because people don't have the money to bring a law suit ? Many I'm guessing . Wrong is always wrong and in this instance the BBC is very definitely guilty of deliberately editing something to create a narrative that suits them , when they r supposed to report the news in a factual and unbiased way .

If you watch the whole speech it's perfectly clear he was inciting people to violence, then ran away like a coward. So I don't see where the BBC did anything that damaging to him; he damaged himself when he did what he did. Broadcasters edit stories all the time; some even make edits to make the Donald look better.

I think Trump should sue them for 100 Billion dollars. Then they might learn that you can't change things with photoshop & editing and say it's real.

add this to that: it may not be him at all that's suing. it could be his management, advisors & or agents. so called "big shot" people sometimes have a constant team of people ready to sue. it can be a near steady source of income.
