Hey CC,

A few years ago, my neighbors at the time were helping me through my breakup with my first girlfriend of about 4 years. They were always there for us prior to the breakup as well, and us for them; I've since moved away but have kept in contact, and things on their end are not well.

The grandmother struggles with health issues and does her best to look after the kids. The mom struggles to find work and support her family, and her unemployment has run out. The kids just started school as well. I've sent money to them when I can, but things are piling up.

Please pray for them! I've kept in touch with the mom via text, and she said she is on the verge of a breakdown. She got a job recently, only for them to let her go a week later ─ apparently the background check did not clear because of something on her record from eight years ago.

They are a wonderful, God fearing family, and are in need of prayers. :)

Heavenly Father,
I thank You for all the good things You have done and will do because You love us, we lift up this family in thier time of need, we ask that You provide employment for this mother, restore health and vitality to grandmother, bless the children. Father, your word says you'll be a father to the fatherless so help this family in the name of Jesus. Amen
 
I come along side you in prayer for this family. I pray everything works out for them.
 
Father God, I lift up this family to you. Please lift up mom Father, shower her with strength Lord, provide a job that will last so she can provide for her family Lord. Please help grandmother with her health issues Father, so she can continue to help with the children Father. Give them peace Father, provide people around them with open hearts to reach out and help them Lord. Take the worry away from this family Lord, give comfort as only you can. In Jesus name, Amen

Keeping the family in my prayers along with your self, it is great that you have been helping them as we preach the work of God through our humble actions. God Bless you brother and the loving family who is struggling.
 
I'd like to personally say thank you to each individual who reached out in prayer - whether you posted here or not. God has done a tremendous work, it would seem. :) I pray it's of good use to them and that their circumstances would improve.

Again, thank you everyone, and God bless! He truly is faithful!
 
Update:

The grandmother is in the hospital. She was admitted late last week on account of struggling to breath. I just received word today that they discovered a "bump" on or near the heart, referred to as Angina. She will need to be operated on, and she has no medical insurance.

I thank all for the prayers, and if I may beg for continued prayer: please lift this family up to the Lord. The mother is scared, yet trying to remain strong for her kids. The dichotomy, I think, is wearing her out even more...

Also, not to sound self absorbed, but if you would please pray for my side work (I'm a PC technician by trade); I am dedicating everything I earn from side jobs for this family. They also have no car, and I am strongly considering having a bit of work done on mine, then giving it to them.

I currently have about $230 set aside for them from the jobs I've collected on, and would like to accrue anywhere from $300 - $500 ASAP (if not, more, so that I can use some of that money towards having my car worked on).

Thanks again, everyone. And please, when/if you pray for them, also pray that the mom does not lose faith. She is struggling on that front as well with the way things are going.
