My college was more conservative than liberal!
Of course, the instructors were all liberals.
Made for very interesting classes and I did not have to even open my mouth.
Just grinned and listened.....
 
That teacher did in fact solicit votes but did not "require her class to sign a pledge to vote for President" Glenn Beck could not get a simple story right without distorting it into something it was not. She was disciplined for her breaking the rules and (as noted) is not teaching there right now. That is exactly why Glenn Beck is not a journalist but merely a rabble rouser. Funny thing how Mr. Beck can simply make such a small change like changing the word "solicit", into the word "require" just to get bigger headlines and scare his readers into thinking something entirely different is happening.
 
First off I have proved Beck not only is right but gives alot more of the story. He gives you the real news and everything Beck has said is coming true. Everything.
 
No problem...just sign the pledge to humor him, then vote for whoever you want to. Voting is confidential, so it's not like he is gonna know.

It was enough to have her placed on leave without pay. Basically she was pushing propaganda -- indoctrination --

Section 104.31, of Title IX in chapter 104, states that “no officer or employee of the state... shall... use his or her official authority or influence for the purpose of interfering with an election or nomination of officer or influencing another person’s vote or affecting the result thereof.”

I listen to all sides and then I go with the one who gets it right. Thats Beck

Cocoa, Florida (FL Today) -- A Brevard Community College math instructor is being investigated by the college for allegedly using class time to urge students to vote for President Barack Obama and for distributing campaign material that says "I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket."
Associate Professor Sharon Sweet, 58, requested and was granted an unpaid leave of absence Monday morning as senior college officials look into the matter. Sweet did not return phone messages or an email seeking comment Monday.
 
these are adults not children or do you not understand community college being post high school? So if these students are still impressionable its their own fault.
 
You don't think a 18 year old is not impressionable?? What does the military do to a 18 year .. breaks them down and instillt their values .. College is nothing but propagenda today, plus it just is the next step out of High School where they got the same
 
It is not like the professor was left to go about soliciting , they were put on leave and they are not teaching now, what is it you want of this person, prison stoning? Their career is probably gone. All to protect YOU, moment of faith, from ignorance that Glenn Beck promotes.

btw the military INDOCTRINATES them, makes them suitable to taking orders and stops them from thinking about killing other human beings and makes them a human weapon. A situation they may recover from if they don't spend too long in the military.
 
Her career is gone from breaking the law. Now if she wouldn't have broken the law she would still be teaching. We she teachers get away with anything these days

Glenn Beck is a purveyor of inflammatory entertainment, it is not news most of it is not true. But his schtick is to give people like you, all the BS they want, to feed their distorted image of the world. Even Faux news could not stand it anymore so they kicked him off.
 
I watched parts of his shows until I could not stand to watch any more due to illness. If Satan exists and IF he had a TV show that would be it.
