"Forgive and Forget"

Do we forgive? Do we forget?
The quarrel that just has passed
Or will we always hold a grudge
Until the very last?

For instance, say we had a quarrel
Would you blame that on me?
For, it takes two to argue
Also - to agree.

Life's too short to let go by
With nothing but regret
Let's go through life
With a big smile
Forgive and forget.......
 
I agree. Healing doesn't take place until we're truly ready to let go of the junk that holds us down.
 
Emotional pain is just as real as physical pain. Forgiveness is always possible, but forgetting the pain is sometimes impossible.
