Forgiveness is a life giving pronouncement. Forgiveness imparts life. God forgives us out of sheer Grace and love. Jesus did not earn forgiveness for us. Jesus proclaimed forgiveness! The Father’s forgiveness is not wishful thinking, it is the reality that Jesus came to announce. We are forgiven by the sheer goodness and mercy of our Heavenly Father.
Think it is time to respond to God the creator of us all? Thankfully!
For, what reason, is this a gift? Do I, you and others have to do something, anything to get it or to keep it? Is a gift a gift without work(s)? If works are added, then does the gift remain a gift?
“For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we will, willingly suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” – Romans 8:15-17
Therefore
Whoever is, knows this in themselves. Is there any need to show and tell anyone else? Or just love all in the same mercy and truth given first to you by God for you in risen Son to you? Time to believe God over self and anyone else you think? Phil 3
