Almost every woman, by nature, clings to the wounds that have caused you in the past, to the point of keeping his heart very sad and painful memories that keep it tied to people who hurt. If you're one of them, you should know that unforgiveness makes you live chained to a feeling that dries your life and allow you to prosper spiritually, therefore you prevent that advances what God has in store for you.
Forgiving does not mean forgetting. You can remember, but decide not to let those memories will embitter, ie decide not reliving again and again in your mind that offense. Forgiving someone does not mean that what he did was right, but break free from the shackles of bearing damage, pain and bitterness that pollute your heart. Jesus said, "And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins" (Mark 11:25, NIV).
When you choose not to forgive, you end up walking in darkness, the Bible says: "He who hates his brother is in darkness and walks in and does not know where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes" (1 John 2 : 9-11, NIV). Unforgiveness not let you see clearly and take you to make many mistakes, you get sick and bitter. Moreover, other people notice it in your face, in your words and actions. But when you decide to forgive, you benefit not only yourself, but also to the people around you. Forgiveness opens your mind and heart, also it allows the Holy Spirit to work freely in you.
Do not let unforgiveness limit what God wants to do in your life. Ask God to give you a forgiving heart andWALK TO WHAT GOD HAS PREPARED FOR YOU!
If you forgive anyone, I also forgive. In fact, if there was anything to forgive, I have forgiven for your sake in the presence of Christ that Satan might not outwit us are not ignorant of his devices
(2 Corinthians 2:10, 11 NIV)So Bear with each other and forgive if one has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord forgave forgave you (Colossians 3:13, NIV).
