Luke 11:49-52
Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;
51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.
Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

"Abel was a prefiguring of Jesus as he was the first innocent human to be sacrificed for the Word of God."
via Stephen Arthur Noel DSouza
In Luke 11:51 Abel has been called a prophet. A prophet is one who speaks on behalf of God. So perhaps Abel was given instructions on sacrificial offerings which were shared with Cain. The instructions were to sacrifice an unblemished lamb with the fat. It was to be offered with a pure heart and in obedience to God's commands.

"Would Cain have killed Abel if God didn’t show favoritism for Abel?"
via Jwee Chiek Er
I suspect that favoritism was just a flame picking your sacrifice or not. Stephen Arthur Noel DSouza mentions Abel being a prophet and talking to Cain on what to do. Cain was doing what carnal man does ..reject the spiritual.

"Babylon is described as a Prostitute, selling herself to the world"

The image and mark of the beast is about selling yourself to the world.

Or their location was special and God really did talk openly to them.
Is Cain and Abel a half way point of Eden to Nod (fallen earth)? Did Cain lose presence with the Lord when he got the mark?
Is Cain and Abel a half way point of Eden to Nod (fallen earth)? Did Cain lose presence with the Lord when he got the mark?
If the image of the beast has always been here (the fall) then is the mark also if there are multiple beasts?
We are going to be using the Tree of Life in the afterlife instead of the Tree of Knowledge.
Tree of Life is God's Spirit.
Tree of Life is God's Spirit.
Lamb's Book of Life has the names that will have The Way to God's Spirit for Everlasting Life.
You get your name in that Book by having Jesus in your life right now before physical death.

Glorified bodies with an ID to the Tree of Life ..we get a new name written in a white stone.
Actually. This is false. Babylon is not the one called a harlot BUT THE WHORE of Babylon, which is its (great) city. Babylon is the bigger whole kingdom. (So I'd say the city is Jerusalem.)
Since the woman's FOREHEAD has the name Babylon written, I'm inclined to believe she is like the capital city of Babylon.
You are expecting Babylon to be a physical city in end times?
Revelation 14:8
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
I don't think there is clear evidence to suggest that, so any additional information would be nice.
Since Babylon is said to be destroyed, and it has history of being taken over by Media and Persia, it's highly plausible to imagine that it's not the entire kingdom of the beast. That's what I think.
Why not?
Of course there is no nation called Babylon in modern day, but it's obviously used as a metaphor, whether it be for a city or a nation.
Yes. It is a physical nation by the looks of it.
It was a long long time ago ..but it represented something. I think God still calls the beast nation/system .."Babylon".
No, Babylon rides upon the beast nation/system:
Rev 17:7 And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
